we had both quesabirrias and birria tacos, labeled on the menu as crispy and soft respectively. the quesabirrias were better. my only complaint is that the salsa wasn't spicy in the slightest and they only give out a single lime wedge.

I love Carmelos! They have delicious, good quality Mexican food that is consistent. I've been to Carmelo's several times over the past year and every single time it tastes delicious and never fails to disappoint. I highly recommend if you're looking for good Mexican food!

This place has been saved on my want to go list for forever. Happy I finally made it here. The compa Camarones multia was flavorful and good. My dining partner got the pollo bowl and was happy with it. Seating is scarce but there are seats outside and a park across the street with tables. Will be back to try more. For the price it was perfect size.
