Atmosphere is great but the food and drinks leave a lot to be desired

I had the cochinitas pibil from the happy hour menu and my mom and I shared the guerrera nachos. So delicious and enjoyable in the patio seating with friendly staff! My favorite meal in Seattle this trip 🌮 ❤️

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience to hopefully spare others the same frustration. From the moment I arrived, the host’s attitude was incredibly off-putting. They were rude, dismissive, and seemed genuinely irritated by even the most basic questions or requests. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they were having a bad day, but the unprofessional behavior continued throughout my entire stay.

There was no warm welcome, no helpful instructions, and certainly no attempt to make guests feel comfortable. On one occasion, when I asked for clarification about the Wi-Fi or nearby amenities, the host responded with a snide remark and rolled their eyes. It was clear that they had no interest in being polite or accommodating.

Staying here felt more like an imposition than a guest experience. The lack of courtesy and respect really soured what could have been a decent stay. Hospitality is about making people feel welcome, and unfortunately, this host has no understanding of that. I would strongly advise others to avoid this listing if you value basic decency and professionalism.

Everything about this place was awesome, good service and even better food. Felt it was pretty good value and the portions were generous. Would highly recommend for lunch. Outdoor seating area was also very nice and chilled.

I'm not a Mexican food expert, so you can totally disregard my opinion, but I loved their food and I think this is my absolute favorite Mexican food restaurant experience so far. I'd love to visit again!

Good food, fast and friendly service. Well worth a visit.

Twelve bucks for two al pastor tacos dripping in grease. The salsa was bland with no spice, the chips weren't salted, and the rice and beans tastes like tomato paste.

Got sat at the bar. Ok not ideal but fine. Waited 10 minutes watching the bartender chat with some bros without acknowledging me before I left.

We loved it! The barria quesadilla was particularly amazing!

Our server was very rude. Thinks he better the you. Hardly came to check on our table. Pop is 5.50 per pop and no refills included. They won't split the bill for more than 6 people and they automatically charge you 20% tip for a group of 6 or more. There is better places to spend money and get better authentic food

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is one of the worst restaurants in the downtown core. The service is absolutely pitiful with servers thinking they are apart of the monarchy. The food was subpar at best. The food was not very tasteful and extremely tiny portions. They are very cheap on the toppings so you have been warned. You will be left starving afterwards, unless you plan on spending $80 on food for yourself. On top of this, be prepared to possibly be exposed in the bathroom by other patrons. I don't know if it's just the clientele from the nearby Strip Club, but I definitely would not be coming here again, and neither should you.

Spend the extra 5-10 minutes and walk to El Grito Taqueria. This place blows Casco Antiguo out of the water.

The staff was very rude, especially the old man there. The food was not upto the mark either. It was a bad experience overall!

Casco Antiguo is a vibrant Mexican restaurant in Seattle known for its fresh, flavorful dishes and lively atmosphere. Their tacos, especially the carnitas and baja fish, are standouts, made with house-made tortillas and bold, authentic flavors. Service is friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality. Whether you're in Pioneer Square or South Lake Union, Casco Antiguo offers a consistently enjoyable dining experience that’s both modern and true to tradition.

Service was excellent. Food was bland and the restaurant was extremely loud

Fair warning, there is no notice of this posted anywhere. There is a $40 charge for any parties over 5 people. ALSO if you want to split your check, it will be split evenly not for what YOU purchased. So when the guy in your party orders 5 $20 drinks, you ALL pay for it evenly. Liberal logic.
