If I have the chance, I will go there again for coffee
Truly excellent coffee, great atmosphere, super friendly people.
Said they would be open again at the end of September, but now there’s a “for sale” sign up so I think it’s over :( great place for bagels and coffee while it was still open!

Flew in from Las Vegas to try what people were saying is a top Seattle coffee shop, and so severely disappointed. Owner mistreats employees, and they’re severely u see paid. Baristas did an amazing job, and deserve so much better.

Trying to get away with paying your employees less than minimum wage is awful.
The two people working looked absolutely miserable. I've worker food service, and get it. I don't believe that service workers owe us happy faces, so I wouldn't mention it if it weren't for how I received my food. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and received it smashed to hell. So much so it had to have been on purpose. It appeared as if it had been wrapped and then someone took their hand and just... smooshed it flat. The edges were completely flat. Theres just no way it becomes THAT flat without effort. This felt a bit much for an accident or a slip of quality control. If I had more time and energy I would have confronted them and asked them to remake it. Because it was honestly ridiculous. I've already had enough smaller bad experiences here (at this specific location) where the latte tasted burnt or the service felt pointedly rude that I don't think I'll be coming back. Management, if your staff IS miserable it's your fault not theirs.

Love coming in to Cherry St. There’s this super hot girl who works some days. I can’t get over seeing her when I come in. It makes my whole day better. She has the coolest eyebrows. I think they’re bleached or sum.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee - well more of a latte - and this was only because I happened to have spare change that i had collected for something small like this - an overpriced mediocre Seattle latte. But I will say I was pleased. There was no joyous exaltation when k entered the cafe; no song and dance at the mere sight of another human. What there was present was a responsible adult cleaning and working. Id much rather have a responsible and accurate barista than a singing one.I ordered a Caramello latte. Pretty good. Nothing life changing or insane. It was a solid not too sweet and not too salty caramel-ish latte. It what a person would hope for when going into an unknown cafe and picking something entirely based on chance.Nice solid B+/A- average. Nothing extraordinary but most definitely necessary. That A- is because the music was awesome.

They got my name completely wrong, and decided to give me a guy's name. Love starting my day off by being called a guy's name while looking at a trans pride flag and other inclusive flags around them, definitely not going back there again.
