The store has a staffing issue due to proper payment problems. The sanitary conditions of the store are also not up to standard, as roaches and rats have been seen in the store several times. Do not go to this establishment.

Let me start off by saying that I have never left a bad review. The chicken is good, but like other reviews suggest, not worth the price.
I was very excited to come here with friends, but unfortunately the undisclosed +20% service charge for parties of 6 left a bad taste in my mouth. We had to order via mobile for an in restaurant experience, and even then, our order was not delivered correctly. For the sake of time, we accepted the incorrect order and still paid for what was provided. The staff provided us water and brought out our food (incorrectly), but I didn’t feel that this warranted a mandatory 20% service charge, which we wouldn’t find out until paying up front after dinner.
If I had known this in advance, I might have ordered to-go, or not come at all.

ChiMac is the place to go for your Korean Fried Chicken craving. The chicken is always very crispy and delicious and the sauce is addictive!
Mon-Wed they also have 50% off drinks after 7 which is a great deal.
Staff refused my request to toss the popcorn chicken in the chili jam, so I walked out. Is there a reason why you couldn't accommodate my request?

Mid chicken at an expensive price for the quality. The ONLY time it’s worth it, if you’re looking to try the chicken, is for their lunch special. They won’t answer phone orders for pick up before 1:45pm tho and nowhere does it state that their kitchen closes at 1:45pm, their hours for lunch are until 2pm. Customer service is pretty poor, everything else is below average. Try Kkookio, Sodam, or golden roosters for better korean fried chicken, actually worth the price.

I unfortunately had to change my 5 star review. I loved their food so much I bought some of their sauces/seasonings from their website. Not only did I not receive my order but I did not get a response back from them after multiple attempts to contact them. Very disappointing considering how good their in-person service was.

Chi Mac is the local KBBQ place in UDistrict, but I’m not particularly impressed by the prices or chicken or atmosphere.
Every is just kind of okay, but even while going here to eat at peak lunch hours, the place just feels a little mediocre, much like the chicken.
Overall, the local KBBQ, but for the price and location, I’d recommend looking around more.
