I'll start off by saying this, the staff was very nice. What the real bother is the service. We arrived and ordered within 5 minutes of being seated, it took well over an hour to be served. It's insane! There was no communication between the kitchen staff and relaying updates on our order. The menu was ridiculous, there was no order to the menu whatsoever. It was in complete shambles with little to no description of the food.On top of all the mentioned above there was zero COVID regulation inside this restaurant. Not a single customer was required to wear a mask, neither were the staff. Social distancing was non existent. The staff in the kitchen weren't even wearing gloves or hair nets?!? I figured that was commonplace even before COVID!

Absolutely love their congee! Although when I asked about it, the waitress said they didn't have any. It seems to be listed as, "Fish porridge". I'm crazy about it. The chow fun is pretty good, noodles stick a bit. Not every item on the menu is bomb and last time I got the fish porridge, there were very fresh, uncooked pieces of ginger in it that absolutely destroyed the taste, but you can avoid those. I enjoy the meat, I find it to be cooked very well, but you'll definitely have a different experience depending on the chef! Sometimes you'll get a 5/5, sometimes a 3/5, but never worse than that.

The food is awesome, very authentic Chinese food and fairly large portions. It can easily feed me two meals with one dish. I would recommend this to anyone who want to try good Chinese food.

Forget service.I decided to take my pregnant fiance there for takeout since I have a bogo coupon at China First.When I was met by the nasty rude owner who denied me the use of the coupon and refused me service I felt severely discriminated against. I didnt have the complexion for the connection I guess. Owner said it was buy two get one free. I said lets read it together show me where it says that? and she say get out. I never coming back.

I have been dining here for over thirty years. I keep coming back because the food is delicious, and the portions for most dishes are small enough that I can finish the entire order in one sitting--though that wasn't true of the last dish I ordered.

I have ordered delivery from here two times. Both times the sauce was missing. Sweet and sour chicken without sauce just taste like breaded chicken. Anyone else missing the sauces?

Absolutely terrible. Found beef in a vegetarian dish. Ordered through Uber eats - nowhere to order a side of rice or add on to a dish, so assumed it came with the main course. No rice. Aside from this, the food was pretty low quality. Will not be going back/ordering again.

We ordered $60 of food and asked for extra red sauce for the bbq pork. The bbq pork was stone cold...maybe that's normal for Seattle but my first time being served cold, without ANY red sauce or hot mustard or seeds to go with the bbq pork. We will not be ordering from here ever again. Very disappointed.

Disgustingly dirty. Floors look like they've never been mopped. Alleyway behind their store is frequently piled full of trash. Tables have a thick layer of grease on top.Save yourself some money, and some food poisoning. Eat almost anywhere else.
This is the worst General Tso's Chicken I have ever had. Soggy & Gross with No Flavor or Spice. Almost positive that management wrote any of the good reviews! Dont waste your money. The egg rolls dont even have vegetables in them it's like clear rice noodle filler, also soggy and gross. I cant believe they charge such outrageous prices for this. The dumplings are not much better and no ginger soy sauce for dipping either. So disappointed after seeing the 4 1/2 star review. $$50 for something I cant even stomach to eat. YUCK!!!

When I called the restaurant to place an order just now, even before I started ordering, she was like rushing me to order fast and told me "be quick!". When I finished ordering which only took 5 seconds, she hanged up on me immediately without even telling me or allowing me to ask how much time it will take. This is not the first time she had attitude issue. I used to buy $60 worth of food there every week and I will not buy there any more not because of the food, but because of her really bad attitude.

China First is cooking with passion today. The Szechuan hot and spicy prawns are so delicious, but every thing I've tried from this menu is always amazing. This is one of the better Chinese restaurants I've experienced in my lifetime, and it's on the cheaper end of bills.
