Easily my favorite place food wise in seattle. Their bahn mis are amazing and the buffet is also very good. Owners are wonderful people who give back to the community. How can you not love them!
The person at the counter was polite and answered all our questions, and the food overall tasted good. However, seeing the “ok” health department rating (second from worst rating) plus the condition of the space itself made us feel uneasy to finish our meal (we did takeaway because it didn’t seem like a place we wanted to sit and eat, and my son told us later about the rating. While we were waiting I saw flies in the dining area. The buffet was in this side room, completely open, almost seemed like a kitchen area. I only saw one employee. There were food peelings on the floor, and the interior needs a major overhaul.
I ordered the lemongrass chicken banh mi and it was amazing! There was barely any wait for the food. It came with a delicious spring roll too. I would highly recommend this place! I will have to come here again.
Avoid ordering the buffet—it's not worth the price. I expected it to include dishes like *bánh xèo*, as advertised on their website, but it didn't. You're better off just ordering individual dishes instead.
Buffet food is average.

Then I believe you should specify it in your website. The wording is very misleading. In the website you show the menu including dishes such as Banh xeo, Che, and below it you mention that 'Can't decide? Sample a variety of flavours in our seasonal buffet'. As a result, customer will understand that all of the items in the menu can be sampled. This is a misleading advertisement.

One of the only remaining vegan buffets in Seattle. It’s $25 all you can eat or I believe $11/pound. The buffet is quite tasty, but best earlier in the day. You can also order off the menu when included Vietnamese soups and banh mi. The staff is always so nice. The atmosphere is lacking a bit on the way of ambiance, but the food makes up for it in my opinion.

I loved the food and service! I got the lemongrass chickn banh mi, bao and tapioca pudding. They gave a free egg roll while we waited?I love that they give free food to the community on Sundays! Updated from previous review on 2024-11-18
All you can eat vegan- what a treat. The food isn’t labeled so I’m not sure exactly what I ate but some of it was really good.
Amazing food all vegan. The sweetest staff and owner in all of Seattle. They also give to the homeless every Sunday ?❤️

AMAZING food. Hard to believe it's all vegan, that's how good it is. We got the egg rolls, the 'pork skin' banh mi and the spicy tofu banh mi and I would get any of them again in a heartbeat. I will absolutely be back.
As others have noted, unfortunately for the owners the location is pretty rough but the parking area seemed pretty secure and we had no issues.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet & was not disappointed!
Very delicious food and great environment. Staff was helping another customer for a few minutes and gave me a spring roll for free for the wait. All vegan but you almost wouldn’t know

I really wanted to go here and I'm sure the food is good, it's just too bad the neighborhood is so bad. We weren't even able to turn into the parking lot because there are literally hundreds of homeless people crowed outside the place.
It's sad for the owners but we unfortunately did not feel comfortable parking there or leaving our vehicle unattended.

Delicious vegan food run by the sweetest lady. The area is really rough though, but the food and owner’s mission are worth coming back for!

Chu Minh makes the best Banh Mi in Seattle. Everyone I know, vegan, vegetarian, and meat-eaters alike LOVE their variety of sandwiches. The price is unbeatable, the bread is fresh and delicious, and my favorite is the spicy tofu, but they are all fabulous. They are also the nicest people. Once when I went to pick up my order (I was early), it wasn’t ready yet so they gave me free deep-fried spring rolls. They are dedicated to the community and all around a perfect lunch
Vegetarian options: 100% vegan, but every meat-eater I know also loves it
