Tucked out of the way inside city hall, this hidden gem has delicious coffee, beautiful cityscape views, and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free. Had a beautiful oat-milk latte and vegan breakfast sandwich.

I go to City Grind every day I am working in the office. The owner is a gem. If you work in the area of Columbia Tower, you should consider this coffee shop as your regular place. The drinks are a great value and there are plenty of takeout food options. I leave feeling happy!

Fantastic in every way. What a great perfect dry cap and the best chai ever nice spice and just a bit of sweet (homemade I’m certain). This guy is knowledgeable about the culture and architecture of Seattle. Love it!

Super nice guy, probably cheapest coffee in Seattle, and it's done well too. Didn't have any business in City Hall but just wanted to visit, and very glad I did

I've been slowly making my way thru all of the coffee shops Seattle has to offer and this, by far, is one of the best.I ordered a 16oz Americano with a double shot (it comes standard with one shot) for only $2.85.Is the coffee the most complex, nuanced, world-class single origin on the market? Nope. Did it offer a symphony of flavors and textures like so many espresso shops these days try to market themselves as having? Again, not at all.But was it just a simple, no frills, unpretentious and good cuppa' coffee that stayed tasty throughout the entire cup? Abso-friggin'-lutely. And for less than $3! (Not including a tip -- always tip your baristas.)It's everything you could want in a morning coffee shop -- dirt cheap, a great product, and a pleasant, whimsical atmosphere, along with extremely down-to-earth service. The barista seemed genuinely grateful when I took a punch card.My only gripe is the place isn't the easiest to find, being in City Hall, but spending the extra few minutes to locate the entrance on Cherry Street was worth it with every sip. I think I've found my new favorite coffee shop in Seattle. If you're on a time crunch, on a budget, or just want to grab a simple, straight forward, and delicious drink, just go here.
