“Was so looking forward to coming in after stalking their instagram and seeing all their amazing cakes! Finally decided to make the 50 min drive from up North and it was so worth it!
Got the Vanilla Bean Custard, Chocolate Blackout, and Key Lime Vanilla Graham cake slices. My favorite by far was the Vanilla Bean Custard, the cake was the perfectly moist with a deliciously subtle cream cheese (if I’m remembering correctly) frosting. The layers make each bite so flavorful and I was obsessed.
The Chocolate Blackout was pretty Chocolate forward without a lot of other flavors coming through, but I think that was user error and I should have gotten a cake like the 9lb Porter or Cookies and Cream to fit my preferences. The Key Lime Pie one was not to my taste but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. I think next time I will get more slices, especially the more seasonal ones. Can’t wait to come back!!“

“We ordered a vegan raspberry vanilla 6-inch cake for my fiancé’s birthday, and it was a total hit. Vegan cakes can be hit or miss, but this one was both delicious and beautifully made.

The owner was very responsive, and arranging everything was easy from start to finish, starting with instructions on the website. There was no issue at all with a Friday morning pickup for a Monday order (which I thought might be too quick a pickup turnaround, but she said anything over 48 hours notice works), and pickup itself was smooth and simple. Would absolutely order again.“

“Cupcake Royale is in a nice location and the shop is fun to browse, with lots of party-themed retail items inside. The cupcakes themselves are pretty good and clearly made with care. That said, I do wish they offered more vegan options beyond just vanilla or chocolate. When I asked if they ever rotate other vegan flavors, the staff didn’t seem very interested or helpful, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s still a good stop—especially if you’re not limited to vegan choices—but there’s definitely room for improvement.“

“Came in and went to order hot chocolate from the poster that was up but the woman said the sign shouldn’t be up and they have no hot chocolate.

As we browsed cupcakes and were about to order the woman put gloves on to help us but kept touching her glasses and face. Not an encouraging or sanitary experience so we decided not to order anything.“
