“The team at Deep Sea Sugar & Salt went above and beyond for our wedding cakes, and they truly ended up being one of the highlights of our night. Not only did our guests rave about them, but even our vendors couldn’t stop talking about how delicious they were.

Kim, Kelly, Kinsley (and the rest of the incredible team) were so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. Since we had to bring our cakes to the San Juan Islands, they partially froze them to ensure they traveled well and even arranged for an early pickup so we could make our ferry — that kind of attention to detail and care was so appreciated.

And the cakes themselves? Absolutely stunning and unbelievably good. The carrot pineapple cake was my personal favorite and ended up being a huge hit with our guests. Every flavor we chose was beautiful to look at and even better to eat.

We can’t thank Deep Sea Sugar & Salt enough for being such a special part of our wedding day. Their cakes made our night even more memorable. Don’t hesitate to book with them — and definitely put down that deposit early, you won’t regret it!“

“The MARGARITA cupcake was a masterpiece, and quite possibly the best cupcake i will ever eat. The cake part, which was lemon flavor, was the perfect physical equivalent of the image that appears in my mind when I think of a cupcake - light, soft, airy, delicious - like eating a cloud that was turned into cake! The icing was the perfect, sweet, thick complement to this, with the perfect amount of sweetness (not TOO much). I would give this cupcake 6 stars if that was possible, and I will remember it forever!“

I made sure to fly the cake back to Texas! The cake itself was decorated beautifully to match the theme.
