Damn the Weather Reviews
Disappointed in dinner yesterday. Took my mom out to eat, had the lamb kofta and chicken. Both were not good. The kofta was cool in the middle and the chicken was tough & dry. The lettuce was brown, black, and wilted throughout. I think they were rushing to switch from lunch to dinner and just threw anything together. Completely terrible experience.
Cool friendly atmosphere!
Great place for a glass of wine!

Damn the Weather is a charming restaurant in downtown that offers a great ambiance and friendly service, though the staff can sometimes be slow. It serves a variety of dishes, including a small yet expensive burger for $23 and a selection of $10 beers. The Pacific oysters are fresh and come with a delicious mignonette sauce, while the grilled sardines are a unique offering, though the polenta cakes served with them lack flavor. Despite potential safety concerns due to homelessness in the area, the restaurant provides a pleasant experience with a decent beer selection and great appetizers.
The menu features a French influence, with the steak frites being a highlight, especially the fries cooked in duck fat. The food is simple with a variety of options, including clam chowder and a generous steak salad. Customers have enjoyed the fresh Washington oysters, a tasty Caesar salad with anchovies, and a delicious chicken sandwich with fries. The mellow, dark-toned ambiance and friendly service contribute to a relaxing dining experience, and the staff goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, even with to-go orders. Although the wine selection has room for improvement, the cocktails have been praised. Overall, Damn the Weather is a cool, intimate place perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or coworkers, all while embracing the laid-back Seattle vibe.
