Underbelly Reviews
Didn't try their food, but had an old fashion and my girlfriend got a cocktail. Seems like our bartender was about to be off, so he was really dry with us. He didn't even ask which whiskey I wanted, but luckily he chose a good whiskey. My girlfriend also enjoyed her cocktail. The ambiance was really nice and overall a nice place to have a drink. Also if you want a nice picture their stairs entrance/exit is really nice.
Arrived to kill time before the train/bus set off for Portland. Near the underground tours, there was a bit of a speakeasy, punk rock, LGBTQ friendly vibe even if it wasn't that hidden. Great cocktails, the bartender was more than happy to mix things up and see what happens. Go to the top of Smith tower then the Underbelly to get a full view of Seattle.
Stopped by for a couple drinks with a buddy in distribution, learned a lot between him and the bartender.
Didn't order food, just a few fernets. Good low key spot that keeps cool and is in a good location even if you get the occasional whiff of that Pioneer Square aroma.

Underbelly provides a strong underground atmosphere with a wide selection of drinks at the bar. Every Tuesday features live music from a stage band, creating a lively and inviting environment. The venue has a slightly dark ambiance that attracts a diverse crowd. Visitors often recommend arriving between 8-10 pm for the music, but the place is enjoyable at any time. The food is described as bomb, with a standout pepperoni pizza that has received high praise. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it a great spot for events like murder mystery parties. Recent reviews highlight the excellent non-alcoholic cocktails and house wines, alongside the $13 game day special of a tall boy and a shot, which is seen as a solid value. Customers appreciate the fun, welcoming vibe, though some mention a lack of decor. The thoughtful cocktail menu and the burlesque atmosphere add to the experience. Additionally, the staff's care for customers was noted when they went out of their way to keep the kitchen open and deliver pizza and drinks, emphasizing the restaurant's dedication to guest satisfaction. Overall, Underbelly remains an underrated gem in Seattle, offering affordable prices, delicious food, and a unique vibe that keeps people coming back.
