Quaint upscale restaurant serving cocktails and small plates with limited specialized dinner menu that changes daily. The entrees are also smaller in size. The duck fat fries are OK with the size of the fries a little too thin where the smaller bits get too crispy for my taste texture. The oysters were very fresh and delicious. Our table had the following dishes: mushrooms, risotto, salmon, chimichri beef tips, pork bellie and burger. The takeaway is rich food that was ok but...
For those of us keeping score, this is the old New Orleans place from way back. Online doesn't stipulate reservations are needed, but maybe they should take them. The staff seemed lost when we walked in with a party of three. No dedicated front reception, or list of who arrived when, so a bit of confusion. Food was decent, though the menu was quite small and things were rather expensive. The cocktails were not quite my thing but I definitely don't think my taste perfectly aligns with the menu (more savory and booze heavy). Atmosphere was cute and cozy.
