We came here for a celebratory meal with high expectations, in line with some reviews and the hype this restaurant gets. My wife’s manhattan was fine, as was my draft beer.
To our surprise, half way through our drinks, the steaks showed up…the waiter had forgotten to order our calamari appetizers.

Above-and-Beyond Service at Daniel’s Broiler

Last week, after a long stretch of travel and staying at the Hyatt, I was tired, homesick, and just wanted a good meal. I went to Daniel’s Broiler, where Emilia was my server and Clark was the manager. Both made my evening exceptional.

The food was delicious, but what truly impressed me happened after I left. I had purchased a pair of sunglasses earlier in the day and left them in the restaurant...

While the food, service & atmosphere was very enjoyable, I do take exception to automatically adding 20% to your dinner bill and that 20% being retained by the restaurant. Tipping servers is in addition to that if you so choose. Pricing on menu is high enough and feel Daniel's could still afford to pay wait staff a decent wage without the add on.
