Novelty of pouring your own pint with a large selection. Server on the main till to get my card was friendly and polite. Other staff also welcoming and friendly. Suggesting favourites etc.
You secure a card with your id and payment card. Then place that card on the taps which logs what you pour. Then you pay the bill at at the end.

Tapster is a unique bar featuring a self-serve concept and a bright, upbeat atmosphere. The venue offers a wide variety of drinks on tap, including over 50 beers, ciders, ales, and kombuchas, many of which are not commonly available in the US. Guests provide their credit card to open a tab and receive a plastic card to serve themselves as much or as little as they want. The self-serve cards work seamlessly and are time-efficient, allowing for exploration at one's own pace. The impressive beer selection includes 45 different options available for tasting, while wine options remain limited. Although there are no food items for purchase, free popcorn is provided, which many find surprisingly addicting. The bar also features TVs for watching games and hosts fun trivia nights and painting classes, making it a great option for low-key group gatherings.
