This is the perfect place to treat yourself to wonderful food, drink, service and ambience with a view. We have been coming here for forty years and never been disappointed.
Excellent food and service, our salmon dinner with salad and calamari appetizer was excellent.
My wife's birthday dinner with our kids was $1,200+ and everything was meh. Our kids (all 20+ years old so not that young) commented that the best part of the meal was the ice cream dessert. We discussed and agreed that this is probably the last time we prioritize Daniel's as there are so many better options now.
Unclean utensils Average food (I had Salmon laid on 3 slices of tomato) but expensive pricing! So definitely not worth it!
We always have a great meal at Daniel's, the server (Kramer) was excellent, he knew when to check on us, if we needed anything. Our water glasses were filled when they were 2/3's empty, this is how well a restaurant is staffed. We got together with an old grade school friend of mine, from the old neighborhood.
We have enjoyed Daniel's at Leschi many times over the years. This time, the food was way below par. The halibut was so overcooked that it had to be cut with a knife rather than flaked with a fork, the medium filet mignon was served very rare and the chicken breast of another guest was also very tough. Not sure if that was just the night we went or if something has changed. Daniel's has always been wonderful in the past!
Incredible view. Ok food. Our server was lovely but seemed to be having a very rough night
How can you miss? We had the most delicious, flavorful and perfectly cooked foods in a simply decorated room with a view of the water and trees. Honestly, we had some of the best steaks and lamb chops that we have ever had up to now. We were celebrating my birthday, the 4 of us, and everyone said the same thing. I heard a lot of yums!!! The service was good. Our server was mostly attentive during the meal, and happily served a beautiful extra dessert because it was my birthday. I will be looking forward to our next fabulous meal and Daniel's Broiler at Leschi.
A wonderful Birthday dinner for our family. Great food, beautiful ambience and impeccable service. What more can anyone ask.
Service was excellent. Ambience was incredible, however, the Lamb chop should have been cooked better flavor wise. Crispy heart of artichoke was not so tasty.

We had the place to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon and the attention we received was just right. The waiter was attentive, the food well prepped and that view.. Can't beat it!
The manager greeted us promptly and cordially and got us a great table on the deck. The food and our our server was was great. It was a beautiful meal on a beautiful late summer day at Leschi.
Daniel's Broiler at Leschi haas been my favorite restaurant for over 30 years and even though I live out-of-state now, my husband and I got back whenever we are in Seattle. It continues to impress and meet all of our expectations, year-after-year. I have a special place in my heart for the Crab Leg Appetizer along with the Filet Teriyaki Strips and Artichoke Hearts with Hollandaise. To be fair there isn't an item on their menu I haven't tried all the way through the sides (Mashed Potatoes are Supreme), and the Spinach Salad is so good but I alternate with Hearts of Palm as it's my other fav. The views, staff, service just always comes through for a wonderful experience.
The food quality is excellent - though very pricey - plan on $150-$200/person if you get a drink, appetizer and main course, more if you add sides and a dessert. They also add on a 20% service charge automatically, so you probably don't need to tip unless your service was exceptional. The location is excellent.
Went to this location for my birthday and when presented with menus female waiter slammed books on table with an inpatient type of attitude, when we decided and ordered they didn't seem to care to ask us for additional toppings for steaks or explain the options.
When receiving my steak it was severely undercooked as if it was flashed for 20secs each side of the steak when I asked for a med rare steak.
My family thought it was over salted and poor flavor. For 400$ ticket this was the last time Daniels will serve me food wasn't cooked correctly, very lacking on flavor.
Chicken over cooked rough with disgusting cheese sauce. No plate was finished at our table and all they tried to do for us was offer me coconut ice cream 🤮
Only plus side to going to this restaurant was that we got to sit near duff mckagan, although him and his plastics were being obnoxious. Very poor service for a high end place, i could name 5 places easily that have better prices and much much better quality
