Bit on the pricey side, nearly all the food was delicious, our server and view were great. Only complaint I have is my daughters New York steak was ordered medium well but came out burnt.
Noon on a Monday after Easter was almost a private party but Griffin, our waiter, provided stellar service to accompany the lovely lake view. Each item ordered was nicely presented and well prepared. A surprise birthday candle delighted her hot fudge sundae to top the day. Will be back soon.
They did a great job of making my son feel special on his 18th birthday. They made sure his meal was cooked to his preference. They accommodated my request to add birthday candles to his dessert. The service by Griffin and Andrew was top notch. Made our visit from Virginia a special one.
Everything was excellent from arrival through departure! Excellent service, ***** food, just a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere. Bravo!
The food was excellent, but the service was slow. The restaurant was very crowded and there wasn't much room between tables. Several times we bumped the diners next to us...they were friendly, but I would rather not disturb them if possible.
Great place that feels like an insiders clubhouse with lovely views, great interior ambiance, well presented food and all with great service!
Daniel's broiler in Leschi is a beautiful waterfront view with a very elevated and elegant ambiance. Food is expensive, but paired with service to meet the value. Kramer was our server and he helped guide our decisions for food and drinks without fail. The spicy prawns were a fantastic appetizer and a highlight of our experience. If you have Kramer as your server you are in very good hands.
The parking was SO confusing. Our first time at this location with my 97 year old Mother who walks with a cane. First I pulled into the small lot assuming this was the correct lot. However I was apprehensive as all the spaces were marked reserved. Went to the larger lower lot, but couldn't park there because of my Mom. Ended up calling Daniels front desk and speaking with a hostess who tried to direct me to the “complimentary parking” I told her I could only find the lot that was reserved next to the dentist office. She did not tell me THAT IS the lot. Ended up asking an outside worker cleaning. He directed me to a lower lot below the restaurant. No elevator My Mom had to climb the flights of stairs up to the main door which was very difficult even with my help. Arrived at the entrance door and spoke to a very nice server whom I explained the situation and showed me where to move my car... up to the original lot next to the reserved spaces. At this point, I was ready to leave, my Mother was so out of breath with her COPD I honestly didn't know what to do. I decided to stay because I couldn't take she out again without resting. Our waiter was awesome and apologized, however that parking experience ruined our lunch. Unfortunately, we cannot and will not be returning to your restaurant. Thank you
Our server just dialed it in. I think he told us he would bring bread and butter 3 times before we actually received it. By then, we already were almost finished with the appetizer. He barely came back to our table after that. The fact that a 20% service fee is tacked on seemed to give him less incentive to actually give good service. I've come to this restaurant several times and never had this sort of service. It was too bad because I brought someone who visits Seattle often for business. Needless to say, he wasn't impressed.
It has been a long time since I went here. We enjoyed a great meal during RestaurantWeek.
Excellent wine selections with a wide price range.
Nice heated rolls with butter.
The clam chowder was great. Not as thick as others and nice spices.
The artichoke hearts were excellent with a nice sauce.
The filet migon was perfect. I like that when delivered, they have you cut it open to check that it is cooked the way you wanted it.
The king salmon was moist and not overcooked.
The creme brulee is flavorful and has a nice carmeled layer.
The Olympic Mountain ice cream is always great.
All in all, a great evening.

It is a pleasant experience to visit this place either for lunch or dinner. You have to book your table in advance.

Very good steaks and pork chop. Leschi location has great views from every table.
Sevice only 2 stars because the food is overpriced and they charge a mandatory 20%. It appears not all of that goes to servers tip. So it's just a way to make high prices higher. Actaul service was good tho. Just management needs to rethink their prices and service charge.

We always greatly appreciate the service and the yummy Dungeness crab. And no noise!!!! So rare and these days we senior we actually seek restaurants that are quiet, reminiscent of dining in the 60's -80's. You might consider one night a month November-April, for 70+ seniors receive a 20% discount*. Advertise at Parkshore, Agis (sp?), Mirabella, Hearthstone, Skyline, etc. They must reserve a day in advance - November-April. That might be a win-win. Increased patrons on slow nights, and a change for seniors. * guests would likely need a significant discount as incentive because they already pay $$$$ for dinners as part of their monthly fees. (Yes, I am 70+, and do not live in a “retirement” home. ?
For my son's birthday, we try steakhouses to see who has the best steak. Though Daniel's Broiler on Leschi was good, it wasn't worth the price. I spent $800 for 4 people and though the food was good, it wasn't worth that amount of money. I do want to say that our service was wonderful and the waiter took great care of us. I appreciated his ability to make us feel welcome.
