We were in Seattle for a conference and stumbled upon Dead Line completely by accident when the place next door couldn't accommodate our party. Since there were nine of us, they seated us in their private room which had couches and comfy chairs and a cozy, speakeasy atmosphere. It was late so we ordered cocktails and a variety of small plates. I ordered the Tarragon Negroni and, seriously, it is the best cocktail I have ever had. I'm sad that I live 1100 miles away and can't return for another one. All of the small plates we ordered were tasty but my favorite was the Potato Cheese Empanadas. Our server was informative, attentive and entertaining. What a great find!

The Menu Revamp is a huge success. This kitchen is on fire, and in a deliciously good way. I’ve been here 3 times this week. Why? The craft cocktails, creatively paired menu items and the staff has me coming back.

I can't tell which was worse: the food or the service. The empanadas were good but the duck was terrible. I was excited to try the duck but it was so salty, I had to spit it out. Seriously tasted like pure salt. I'm not sure how much salt the chefs put on this duck but it tasted like I swallowed a whole teaspoon of salt. It was honestly disgusting. Service was awful. There were maybe 3 other tables and 7 waiters just standing around talking to each other. One worker was arranging flowers and another browsing on a laptop. Took forever to get our drinks, appetizers, and mains out. I remember a chef cooked a course and put it on the counter. It took 15 minutes for a waiter to notice it and bring it over. When we finished, we spent about 20 minutes trying to flag someone down for the bill. I don't get how there are 5 waiters just talking to each other and 2 other waiters doing whatever they were doing.

Gorgeous bar and restaurant, bar tender was great and the food looked fantastic. However, one catch. The fried chicken in the sandwich was terrible. It was probably the grease in the frier. It tasted burnt and dirty. So I'll allow for an oversight, however, when I mention it to the bartender the chef comes out and says "We filter the grease daily". Then walks back into the kitchen. No offer to replace the dish, not even an apology, nothing. The friendly bartender drops off the bill with a 20% discount. I'm the only one in the restaurant and it's lunchtime. I leave my plate, pay the tab and walk down the street to eat somewhere else. So I would not recommend this place just under the principle that they do not care about the customer.

We attended a private party Sat Dead Line and absolutely Loved. The drinks were amazing, food was delicious and had vegan options and tip top service. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Great spot. Food was amazing. The chef puts so much thought into each dish. Definitely upscale restaurant quality. Drinks on point and great cocktail lounge vibes. Entire staff was attentive and happy. 10/10.

The food from Chef Simon was excellant this past Saturday night. The meat (chicken in this case) and the vegitables were prepared perfectly and with a few unique, but subtle, extra special flavors. We have been here a few times but now have decided to come back much more often.
