Wonderful cake shop- has me looking forward to my next visit. We had the banana cake with banana pudding in the layers, and the chocolate malt cake. We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!

Funfetti: amazing. The sour cream frosting balances out the sweetness, preventing it from being too rich. Also ordered the banana nilla wafer March seasonal flavor, which could have used more banana, but good otherwise. Funfetti would be my go-to slice, if I lived closer!

I was very disappointed, I don't mind paying for what I get, but at the same time I want what I pay for. They have all these cakes in the front of the store, but they go to the back to get your slice. The cake is not fresh it's cold(like leftover's), it's not moist and they are thin slices.Parking: There was a parking lot but only had one parking spot available there was only two other people in the cake shop, so the employees must park there also.

One of the best slice of cake I have had in my life!! I have been eating here from 3 odd years and this place has never ever disappointed me!! I recommend this place to each and every one of you! They make every slice with love! My personal fav is the london fog as it takes me to my childhood and they had a rotating flavor chocolate with rum along with hints of orange, moist, flavorful and just out of the world!

This shop has THE BEST cake I have ever had- every flavor and kind is delicious, the funfetti is a favorite of mine, along with the London fog and lemon cream. Make sure to pay for your parking at the new shop, if you’re parking in the public lot next door!

How about we write a review of the business and not a review of the parking lot which the business doesn’t own or manage? This my go to cake spot. Guests in town? Deep Sea Sugar and Salt. Special occasion or just because? Deep Sea Sugar and Salt.I admit, don’t love frosting in general so I usually eat just the cake. My husband likes both. The carrot pineapple is his favorite and I like vanilla or fruity seasonals (can’t wait for banana pudding). The cakes are super moist, they taste good, and they look good. What more can you want? The new shop is adorable and I’m happy I don’t have to fight for street parking anymore. Yes, you have to pay for parking but that’s the case in any decent size city. I’ve paid for parking in that lot even when I’m just running into Great Notion to pick up beer. If you want to take a chance because you’re “just running in” that’s your bad.

I come here at least once a month to try to seasonal flavors and my favorite regular ones. I like the cake here because it's moist, dense, the flavors are awesome, and I like the cream cheese frosting (they don't do buttercream, in case that matters to you). My overall favorite is the chocolate salted caramel.Because I come so often I've tried a lot of flavors, and frankly have walked away satisfied each time. Some flavors aren't exactly what I expected, but it's still good cake. I usually buy 2 slices to enjoy over a few days.Service is always great, the staff are nice and service is prompt. I think they cut each slice fresh too, so you're getting quality cake. The atmosphere at the new place varies! I usually swing in for pickup while I'm running errands, but it's nice to sit with a slice when it's not busy. It's been pretty busy lately though, apparently due to social media exposure and Valentine's Day. It might be slower on Thursday/Friday before the weekend rush.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps up to the front, and the shop is one level with concrete flooring.
