Five stars because it's a great place and deserves the business. Great staff, great beer on tap, food is also super enjoyable. Wish there was a bit more on the menu but loved everything about this place. My only minor gripe is the pretzel didn't have that nice baking soda bath flavor but was still tasty and a great texture.
This place is fantastic! Great selection of German beers, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the caprese sandwich (get it with the homemade spatzle if you want to be really full). Gretchen is an amazing bartender - great cocktails and very knowledgeable about the beer selection (if you're like me and don't know much about German beers, she'll help you figure out what you need!).
my dad, a german cuisine connoisseur, was impressed with the jägerschnitzel. we also loved the käsespätzle, and i’d eat the sauekraut and rotkohl by the damn truckload if they’d let me.
