This seems to be a go to place for me when it comes to eating dim sum, and other pastry type items when I am near Chinatown in Seattle! Their baked and steamed buns are not bad but I wouldn't classify them as very good or better, but the value of their food is excellent when it comes to cost! Some of my favorites here are the Har Gau, Sui Mai, Sweet sponge cake, Pot stickers, black bean, sesame balls, and the sticky rice cakes!

Great place for a quick Dim Sum treat. The items are not as abundant as you can get in a normal restaurant that serves dim sum, but there are still a lot to choose from. And you can find most of the signature dim sum dishes like shrimp dumplings, shumai, steam rice noodle rolls, sesame balls, etc. And the best thing about this place is you can order any quantity you'd like.

We needed a lunch and just stopped at this place. The BBQ pork bun was so yummy and the sui mai was the best! It’s a little hole in the wall but it hits the spot!

I've been coming here for 7 years... and what happened yesterday has put me off from coming here again. You always feel like you're getting nickel and dimed, as they charge for containers and small container of soy sauce/chili peppers. What's next, charging us for forks/chopsticks/spoons? Just build it into your price. But I could still live with that-- what put me off from coming back is that I found a hair in my shui mai. It was still in the 15 cent to-go container, so I hadn't even opened it yet. I pointed out the hair to the employee, she shrugged and looked at me as if I was being too picky. She took that shui mai and threw it back in with the rest of them to be served to someone else. Sorry Dim sum king-- I could deal with a rude staff and getting nickel and dimed, but throwing that piece of dimsum back into the main container for some other unsuspecting customer is disgusting.

I tried this place for the first time. Service is a regular Chinese restaurant so can’t expect much. I asked for soy sauce and chili oil and she looked into the back and told me it was already in the bag so I left and after I got back home, I realized there is no sauce in the bag so I had to eat the dim sum without dressing. I think that was super rude. She looked into the bag and knew it wasn’t in there, but just did not want to give me any sauce. As for the food, it was decently tasting but unfortunately I found a piece of a small hair in my hai gow. And a little bug almost like a gnat or mosquito on my shumai.Disappointed because I like the concept of ordering by piece but won’t be coming back due to sanitary and service issues.

So good, so very good. I'll definitely be back. These are the best egg tarts I've ever had and the baked BBQ pork bun was everything I hoped it would be. Highly Recommend! I ate the fried mochi before I thought to take a picture... Wish I had another.

The hygiene of the restaurant is a bit bad. The tables cleaned by the aunt are still dirty. The food is just ordinary Hong Kong style tea. It is recommended to take away.

This is a good dim sum in the go. Everything is ready to go. When you come in to the left there's a small paper to fill, don't miss it! I missed it and the lady seemed annoyed of my order. It was my first time there so I wasn't sure how many to an order. I paid $13 for a decent sample of items. No line and it was quick. I was craving everything in Chinatown and this was the small and quick fix that I need it. Definitely a must stop when in Chinatown.

Value! Easy, fast, cheap! Pick one of everything that looks interesting or unique, and enjoy the journey! Pro tip bring some sauces and be ready to wait for a table.

Dim Sum King is the place to go if you want dim sum on a budget or just a quick snack while you're in IDistrict. When you walk in, they have the menu on the wall where you can order an individual items with quite a few dim sum items being just over a dollar and the more expensive options ranging up to three-ish bucks. It is cash only unless you spend over ten to fifteen bucks and they have 2-3 small tables if you want to dig in right away. Is this the best dim sum in Chinatown? No, but it's certainly the most bang for your buck. In general, the dim sum is more dough and less meat than I prefer (this was the case for the steamed bbq pork bun and the fried meat football), but the flavor was solid and would certainly hit the spot. The custard bun was my favorite item I tried and the egg tart has the classic crumbly shell, though the egg custard was a little too set for my preference.

This creepy looking place was surprisingly good. Went there are 8am in the morning and there were lots of people going in an out, lots of customers. It didn’t look like the dim sum was freshly made but I gotta say it was pretty good. I don’t usually like shrimp dumplings or siu mai much but it was shockingly good.
