Been a regular customer here, but recently have noticed that the ratios have been off. Getting the Roselle Honey Chrysanthemum at 15% sweetness is either too sweet or not sweet enough, so the the ratios are not being measured according to the recipes accurately.
Loved Don’t Yell at Me! Quick service, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for a place to spend time. Highly recommend checking it out!
Seattle classic imo. I think it’s cheaper than other places by $1-2. I love the tea and bubbles here! I love the logo, the merch is tempting
Manager is always on her phone with boyfriend and acts incredibly unprofessional for her position.
Best bubble tea in the U district!
Always love brown sugar pearl milk!
They are great! Super nice! Come by and get a tasty drink and snack
The tea is delicious, tastes quality, and the tapioca boba balls are never too hard or too mushy! We always get Taro, or Osmanthus, or the mango with salt cream. Loveeee we come here so much.
I used to be a regular customer, however the prices have gone up dramatically in less than a year, and quality is not matching. Recently, I've had very poor staff experiences, as when I had an issue with a drink the staff began to argue in a very rude and combatative manner, even though the drink was clearly made incorrectly (this was also not during a rush when the store was pretty empty). In the past the staff were a lot more friendly. Nearby competition basically does better than don't yell at me. I recommend Macu tea for any fruit drinks, while Mee Sum and Seattle Best excel at milk teas.
Loved my visit here! The drinks were cool and refreshing, just perfect for the day. I was especially impressed with the beautiful decoration of the store—it created such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I’ve visited “Don’t Yell At Me” a couple of times and tried a variety of drinks.
1. Uji Matcha Smoothie with Cream Cheese
The matcha-to-milk ratio was spot on—nicely balanced and easy to drink. The cream cheese topping was saltier than usual, which might surprise some, but the amount was well portioned. The strawberries weren’t sweet, which was a bit of a letdown, but overall the drink still had a good base.
2.Brown Sugar Milk Tea
Loved the chewy texture of the boba. The drink itself leaned more on the sweet side and could’ve used a stronger tea flavor to round it out, but it’s a decent pick if you prefer milder teas.
3. Lychee Tea
My friend tried this one on our second visit. It reminded us of canned lychee—not super fresh (I didn’t quite like it), but if you're into that nostalgic flavor, you might enjoy it.
4. Mango Tea
Probably my favorite out of the bunch. It tasted fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. Super refreshing and definitely a solid choice.
5. Crème Brûlée Tea
This one didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It was kind of disappointing. The drink was overly rich and greasy, probably due to the heavy cream. Plus, they didn’t do the sugar torching on top, which was what I was most excited about. :(
Not exactly sure why but quality is subpar compared to the one in caphill and the one in Kirkland.
I gave their UW location a try despite not having good experience with their Bellevue location because it has better reviews. Unfortunately, the traditional milk tea I ordered was too sweet despite me explicitly asking that I want it minimally sweet. They also didn't add much milk and it tastes watery.
Wifey was craving some boba, this place came up. Flavor was super yummy, boba didn’t taste fresh it seemed hard then other boba places we’ve visited. There was just one worker making all the boba. They sell some pretty cool hoodies though with there logo. Overall ok experience. This area has no parking nearby.
though its like $7 for a tea, which is normal for Seattle. the caramel one is really good and the vibe is really good for getting your stock photography done online.
