This place has gone downhill! Our most recent visit, half the food was inedible. The Q-Bao’s have a new recipe and they’re two times smaller.
I thought the food would be better
It was mediocre at best.
One of my new favorite spots! I've never had such fresh or yummy noddles. Got the Dan Dan and beef dumplings. Only minor complaint is that the dumplings didn't come with any dipping sauce.
I absolutely LOVE their soup dumplings!!! They're always filled with so much soup, with great flavor, the perfect thinness of the wrapper...thin yet so strong to hold all that yummy goodness inside!
The Q-baos also hold so much soup inside them! They always seem to have the perfect brown crisp to the bottom of them.
Love their pig ear appetizer. It's an acquired taste, but they cut it so thin; I love how chewy and flavorful this dish is!
Their noodles, soups, and other hot foods aren't the greatest, but if you're looking for an amazing soup dumpling, come to Dough Zone!!! Their service is always so quick and friendly!
I just wish parking was better at this U-district location. There isn't a designated parking lot for this place as it's on the bottom of an apartment complex. You can park across the street at the u-village parking garage
Great place 👌 good job thanks
Food is good. Not top notch. I wished there are more vegetarian options for wontons and baos
Beautiful spot, kind and attentive staff. The food is HORRIBLE. Dough Zone UV needs serious QC investigation. The rest of your locations are great but this one every item was bland, too oily, and the meat felt overcooked. Would not eat here again.
Very busy location depending on the time. Good food, although the cucumber appetizer is not worth the price.
A really good dumplings. Nothing else to say. It could be an hour of waiting during busy hours.
This is a very good dinner option to f you like soup dumplings. The food is very tasty. It is like Din Tai Fung but cheaper.
Restaurantji Recommends
Best dim sum I've ever had! Hands down!
Love almost everything. It has all type of delicious food and will always return every time. Only thing is the wait. Takes a little bit but you have at least stores to buy things from for the wait.
I've eaten here a bunch of times and generally enjoy the food. However the last time we ate here, 3 out of 4 people got extremely sick within 6-8 hours with the exact same symptoms. When I called to inform the restaurant there may be food borne illness in what we got served, instead I had quite a remarkable exchange with the manager, Tommy.
Without asking what we had, how many people got sick, symptoms, etc - he attempted to deny Dough Zone could have done this. Even though I was quite confident that dough zone caused this and had evidence to share, Tommy only cared about covering the restaurant's liability.
I don't want to eat at restaurants that dismiss health claims and only care about food safety at the compliance level. I'm pretty sure Tommy's actions as a manager are illegal as well as unethical.
OMG so many options to choose from and they're all delicious and service is great.
I can’t with this place! Took my husband and four kids(11 and under) here and we all enjoyed it thoroughly!
