Our Pastas
Traditional Bolognese Ragù
Painted Hills natural beef, Carlton farm artisan pork meat slowly simmered in tomato sauce and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Short Ribs Ragu'
Painted Hills short ribs, shank, and hanger steak, slowly braised in Chianti wine and tomato sauce, topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Carbonara
The authentic recipe is directly from Rome. Eggs, pecorino romano, guanciale (cured pork cheek), and black pepper.
Cacio & Pepe
Creamy (but with no cream!) sauce with 16-month aged Pecorino Romano DOP, 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano, Tellicherry, and Sarawak white pepper.
Mushroom & White Truffle Oil
A vegetarian dish with shiitake and cremini mushrooms, white Italian truffle oil, cream, finished with pecorino romano, and dill olive oil. This sauce contains wheat.
Puttanesca
Tomato sauce, basil, garlic, olives, anchovies, capers and parsley. This sauce is dairy-free.
Pomodoro (Vegetarian)
Plum tomatoes sauce, baby spinach, topped with Sardinian salted ricotta.
Kale Pesto (Vegetarian)
Kale, walnuts, almonds, extra-virgin olive oil, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Topped with flash-fried kale and smoked ricotta cheese. Vegetarian.
Smoked Salmon
Smoked salmon, creme fraiche, spinach, topped with pine nuts, and capers. This sauce contains wheat.
Aglio & Olio (Vegan)
Organic roasted garlic, parsley tossed in olive oil. Topped with sourdough breadcrumbs and Szechuan infused olive oil.
Alla Nerano
Fried zucchini slices and melted Caciocavallo cheese with generous basil and a hint of lemon zest.

Arancini
Crispy, deep fried Sicilian balls of saffron rice filled with bolognese sauce, caciocavallo cheese and peas. This price is per arancino ball (recommended serving two balls).
Burrata Tricolore
Creamy, decadent 4oz. Burrata served on a bed of arugula seasoned with our balsamic reduction and topped with slow-roasted cherry tomatoes.
Bell Pepper Bruschetta
Roasted bell peppers, arugula, capers, and garlic over a roasted sourdough bread slice.
Wings Alla Cacciatora
Chicken wings (5 pieces) stewed in a rustic tomato sauce, with veggies, fresh herbs and taggiasca olives, slowly stewed until tender perfection.

Salads
Side salad
Gem lettuce, Taggiasca olives, salted ricotta, and balsamic vinaigrette.
Marinated Eggplant Salad
Grilled eggplants marinated in a balsamic vinaigrette on a gem lettuce salad with watermelon radish, carrot, and onion. Topped with smoked ricotta and a balsamic dressing.

Tiramisu
Ladyfinger soaked in espresso coffee and marsala liquor layered between a mascarpone egg cream and topped with chocolate chunks.
Torta della Nonna
A slice of Tuscan indulgence, with a sweet pastry base giving way to the lemon- and vanilla-scented custard filling. Topped off with a thin layer of pastry and crunchy pine nuts, this tart is a real treat.

I’m so happy this place is in my neighborhood. Pasta shop that’s just different enough from homemade to make you want to go. Served hot.

Discovered this place during the Seattle Wine Event. Made a special trip just to try it out. Was NOT disappointed. Everything was so good. Can't wait to go. Tiramasu was so good. Very rich and tasty. My sandwich... I wish I would've ordered another for the trip home. Plan on making another trip out thay way again to try other options.

I’m from Italy and once met the owners on a walk, they were looking for a new restaurant location. They said “Si abbiamo aperto un ristorante a Seattle chiamato Due cucine e ne stiamo cercando un altro”, well I am so glad that they decided for this city to open their restaurant and finally get my cultural food, food that I grew up with at an honest price. This place is better than anyone who is trying to sell you pasta at fancy restaurant for $35. So yeah I love what they...
