This place rocks! I only wish it wasn't all the way in West Seattle.

Such a cool retro, urban, resourceful, and cozy space! I loved basking in the atmosphere here with all the vintage band posters and wall art! Great comfort food w/ vegetarian options, awesome selection of records incl. smaller local artists, and really nice people working here. Really enjoyed my first visit and am looking forward to coming back. Seattle is lucky to have this place. :)

Classic Record Shop in a hip, Seattle Neighborhood. Doesn't get much more Seattle/Grunge than this

Super cool find! They have an incredible selection, a bar in case you're thirsty/hungry & some of the best decor.

Consistently bad service and the food is worse than Denny’s. Consistently.I’ve been in West Seattle for irregular work for the last 7 years, and every 6-12 months I try to give this place another chance and am yet again reminded as to why I should stop doing that. Over the past few years specifically, every time I’ve walked in there is only 1 server that ever genuinely gives me a smile, and I feel like I’m really a genuine nice person who likes to be nice to service workers having been in the industry myself for so long. Not to mention pretty much everyone acts like you’re totally inconveniencing them by simply ordering food or coffee. The last time my friend and I ordered food to go I honestly could not believe how rude the person at the cashier was, for a stupidly simple order that we asked to sub one thing. Nevermind the fact that the food is always, consistently the worst food i’ve ever had.I have multiple local musician friends who have played shows here and they have consistently had negative experiences and said it is not a gig they will be taking again. They’re the most famous record shop in town and are a destination for a lot of people from outside Seattle, but they’ve been riding a good reputation and cool factor from the 90s or earlier, good for them, but it is the most overrated record shop & cafe in town. Also for the love of god how hard would it be to just have simple syrup at the coffee bar? Why is it that if i get an ice coffee i have to just suck up giant grains of raw sugar to sweeten my coffee?

Just the best. Legendary for a reason. I never seem to get out of here without at least 4 records.

I love the atmosphere and staff!

Legendary record store where (almost) everything was born in Seattle in the late '80s. You can breathe history, punk rock and energy (despite the years and tragedies)

Good food, love their Ruben and Philly. Good drinks and a fabulous atmosphere and service... THAT BEING SAID, SOMETIMES THE MUSIC IS WAY TOO LOUD!!!! Ha sorry I had to scream cuz the song was blaring in my ears.

Bailey Morning

the cultural center of west seattle. Serves my all my needs of getting drunk, caffeinated, and buying good bargains on records

What can't be said about Easy Street Records???If you can't find what you're looking for, the staff will or will help you. If not, they'll order it or refer you to another area store that may have. It was easy dropping a couple of C notes on vinyl my last visit. I'd spend more there if I could.
