This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Seattle area. The vibe is like going back in time to the early 90s and walking into a home in the wall joint. Ask the artwork is by Frida Kahlo or inspired by her and Diego Rivera. It's family owned and the service is always wonderful. The drinks are fresh and yummy and the food is amazing and authentic. It's also very affordable which is hard to find around here these days.
Food, ambiance, and service were so on point at El Gallito.

This restaurant feels like one of the best kept secrets in Seattle. The food is some of the best in the city, with favorable portions and unbelievably affordable pricing. Staff are friendly and it’s generally a chill place. Me and my buddies spent hours here on a Friday night drinking, eating, and talking, and we never felt rushed. Seriously cannot recommend enough.
