If you are looking for the best margarita or mojito on Beacon Hill - you are in the right place. The food here is delicious and family owned and ran! I feel lucky to have such a great local neighborhood spot.

Some of the best mole’ I’ve ever tasted, including in Oaxaca. Friendly, cozy, homey. We’re coming back!

They charge for food to go boxes!?!?!? Salsa is watered down and beans are not flavored. Goedora was good though.

Amazing food and prices! Drank the veggie, ate carne Asada and queso fundito. Everything was off-the-charts delicious!

The food was delicious! We took my sister in law here for a late lunch and was very happy with everything.
I had a steak and eggs with beans, my husband had a chicken chimichunga and my SIL had a chicken quesadilla.
Quite empty for the afternoon.
Next time I will order mine without the Diablo sauce on the chips.
Great service. Great food!

El Quetzal was a nice spot for a Mexican food lunch on a hot Seattle Saturday. The menu is large with enough variety to probably have something for everyone. I didn't adore my margarita, but it was plenty strong and worth the price if that's your goal. Similarly, I don't prefer the style of quesadilla we received (lettuce, lighter on the cheese, etc) but all the ingredients were high quality and well done (the steak was delicious, for example.) Chips and salsa were tasty!

Came here recently with some coworkers - the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere impecable.

I don't live far from here - so I fully anticipate this becoming a regular spot. If you like good food - come over.

(I see a bunch of people talking about how the chips weren't free - no restaruant is required to give you free food, and when you order the chips you get guac and amazing salsa, pay the little bit extra - its not a big deal)

Amazing food and service, extremely fare price. Possibly one of the best Hispanic food places I have been to, this far north of the border

Fantastic, legit Mexican food. I had the quesabirria special. Also tried the ribs in morita chile sauce. Service was friendly and quick. Presentation was gorgeous. So happy to find this spot. Muy rico!!

Oh. My. Goodness. Eat this food!!! This place is amazing. Authentic, home cooked food with generous servings. Great prices. No doubt someone’s Abuela is the head of quality control at El Quetzal. The atmosphere is inviting, fun and feels like someone’s home. From street tacos to slow cooked specials the food is absolutely outstanding. We will be back to eat the rest of the menu.

Friendly staff, fair prices, good food and good vibes. They had live music and it was a really fun night. We had a mix of picky eaters and they accommodated everyone without any problems. Very attentive and overall great experience.
