About Emerald City Fish & Chips

Emerald City Fish & Chips is a cozy restaurant in Seattle known for its delicious fish and chips, offering a variety of options that are all well-prepared. The standout dish is the halibut, praised for being juicy and flavorful. The crab puppies are a unique highlight, and the sampler platter is recommended for those wanting to try different items. The restaurant features limited seating, with only about 8 seats inside and a few more outside, so customers should be prepared to wait for a table or consider take-out.

Guests appreciate the affordability and value of the meals, with one reviewer noting how thrilled a gluten-free companion was to enjoy fish and chips again. The batter is described as slightly spicy, complementing the tartar sauce, which some call the best they’ve ever had. In addition to fish, the menu includes tasty clam strips and catfish, though diners might prefer to request the catfish cooked a bit harder. Overall, the friendly staff and freshly cooked food make Emerald City Fish & Chips a must-visit spot for anyone in Seattle, especially those near the Space Needle.
