Excellent oysters and clam chowder! Fish and chips were okay for our taste. Friendly service.

Hidden gem. They are known for their oysters. I think they are hard to find...below the Post Alley (there are stairs) or you can enter from the shopping area by Starbucks. FANTASTIC oysters and steamed mussels (in garlic broth). They have the HOT horseradish, which I appreciate. The mussels come with two slides of their delicious bread to dip in the broth. There are tables, booths, and seating in the bar area. On "nice" days, they also offer outdoor seating. They offer five beers on tap and 7 beers in bottle. A few wines available.

Google has Saturday hours "open until 6pm."Got there before 5 with my daughter and we were both really looking forward to some oysters.Turns out they're only open until 4:30 based on the schedule posted on their closed door.Would be awesome if online business hours aligned with actual business hours.

Food was probably fantastic. I'm not sure though, because my party of 5 career professionals walked out prior to the server taking our order because the he was extremely rude and unprofessional, for no reason, in a way I've never seen in my 45 years of life (mind you, within only 5 minutes). I could go into detail but not worth my time. Found another place nearby to spend our money and had a fantastic time.

Great Experience! My partner and I, being from out of town, were touring Pike Place Market with some of our friends who are locals. They insisted that we had to stop here for oysters, and we just barely made it in 5 minutes before closing. The staff was so gracious as to seat us, welcome us in, and not rush us in the slightest. We ordered a half dozen oysters to which we received 3 kinds of oysters, 2 of each. They were delicious. Fresh. Full of Flavor. I recall that one of the types of oysters was East Coast Oyster, but happen to forget the other 2 kinds. Our server was super friendly and took good care of us despite our last minute appearance. And the restaurant itself has a homey and welcoming vibe. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Food was great, service was amazing, food came out fast. We got 12 oysters from three different locations and a bowl of clam chowder to share. The ambiance is super cute it's a small diner. Would definitely come back!

Stopped in for a quick bite of oysters before hitting the Seattle Christmas market. Tucked away in a little center but it had reasonable prices for the oysters and they still tasted super fresh. The clam chowder was just alright, much more flour roux taste than preferred especially since pike place chowder is so close by. But def loved the oysters and fast/good service.

I wanted to love everything about this place because of it adorable ambiance, rich history, and supported expertise in oyster culture. Upon asking what kind of oysters they had I got the answer "they're from here in the Seattle area, but I don't know what they're shucking". Huh? Well how about you go find out and come back to me so I know what I'm ordering. I reluctantly ordered because hey, I'm here for the oysters. Sadly the oysters that were delivered were presented poorly, dried out and not containing any liquor, and tasted quite bland and on the older, poorly stored flavor profile.

I understand that there have been negative reviews regarding the service; however, we decided to see for ourselves this afternoon and visited this spot for an early dinner. The service was actually exceptional. We had a very sweet lady wait on our table and she was attentive throughout the meal. We ordered two dozen oysters to start and they were so delicious that we had to get a third dozen. We then ordered the fish and chips and an order of fried clams. The fish was battered to perfection and had a very nice texture. The fried clams were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The ambiance was quiet and comfy. I hope that this is a sign that things are improving and that customers can have an experience that is as delightful as ours was.

We love hole in the wall places. This restaurant reminds me of Swan Oyster depot in San Francisco, so we have to try it. Oyster on the half shell is the main star here & rightly so. It's no frill... but great value. We also had the seattle style gumbo soup (lots of seafood but a bit under flavored) & fish & chip (interesting cornmeal crust). Service is great... a very boho looking but super sweet waiter looking after everyone.

The food was fresh and delicious. I added a little pepper and salt to my clam chowder. The service was good. Quick and easy. It was quant and cute inside the market place location.

Most importantly, this place doesn't use frozen food out of a bag, like many local venues. You can tell by the fries, which seem like freshly cut potatoes. It really makes a difference. The seafood and produce is as fresh as one could ask for. There's a great selection of local beers here., most of which aren't at the other restaurants. The food is great. I'd recommend the captains plate, which is the only thing I really order. Fried fish, clams, shrimp, and the best fried oysters I've had in Seattle. Or anywhere for that matter. The service is northwest friendly. Everyone is laidback and appropriately chatty at times. Sit at the bar for a quick stop or a beer.

The kitsch is kinda the appeal of this spot. It's nestled in a corner of Pike Place Market. We probably should've been clued in when we were basically the only customers in here. Loved the dive-y ambiance. The staff were very pleasant. The food was a-ok. There's much better spots for seafood. But this place will get it done. Again, the ambiance is the draw here.

Pretty good deal for oysters- about $20 for half a dozen. Also enjoyed their French fries and house white wine. This restaurant was recommended as an oyster spot from one of our hotel staff since they have a good variety of local catches for oysters.
