I'm sad to hear many folks have had bad experiences here. The service has always been good for me, and the lattes always up to Seattle par. Perhaps the food and specialty drinks aren't great, but it's been a decent place to grab some coffee in the venue area of downtown, in my experience. Perhaps a touch overpriced, but that's to be expected. Decent coffee for a coffee desert area.
Ordered orange cappuccino. Did not disappoint. The barista (I presume shop owner) is very friendly and polite. I don't think this shop deserve 3 stars because of some unpleasant experience months ago that seems to have long improved sby then.
The area was clean, the fruit was fresh and the gentleman behind the counter was incredibly sweet and very accommodating, his wife? Absolutely disgusting disposition. Good enough to visit for a quick latte while at a conference but definitely NOT worth a return. If you can find somewhere else, go there instead.
