Best espresso in town by far. Service has never been good here but the coffee is worth the visit.
Probably the best espresso I have ever got. My friend recommended me. It is amazing.🤩 I got Latte with homemade white chocolate sauce, and a single shot of espresso on the side since I wanted to try their espresso.
Service is mediocre.
Very pleasant staff, true service with a smile!
Great Almond Danish👌
On our Seattle trip we were on the hunt for the best coffee in Seattle and this was definitely in our top 3. It's not in the touristy area which is actually quite nice so the prices are very reasonable compared to other places. Very friendly service and they were extremely patient in describing some of their menu (fortunately we hit it at a slower time as to not hold up a line). I am usually a mocha guy (this was outstanding as well), however, I first tried their Cafe Nico (yum!). Great vibe inside and ample seating. Appears to be a local spot as people popping in all were on a first name basis with the baristas.
When I was there, I ordered an iced macchiato, and it was nice and pleasant on a hot day to wake me up.
I really want to like the coffee here. It's a historic household name. The coffee is always off (basic drinks like the Cappuccino and an espresso shot). Just disappointing.
Great coffee and atmosphere

I am saddest to leave the city because of this coffeeshop. The coffee, the skills, the bakery items... ? Whatever latte I was ordering to go, I always ordered a cafe nico to sip before leaving. And trust me, you need it in your life.
Also, if you are a mocha lover, please try the white velvet. It is dreamy.

Honestly, the coffee and hot chocolate were good. The atmosphere was great except for the two mean guays making fun of customers as they are walking out and talking trash under their breath as they mess up our orders and blame us for it. But at least the only thing they were semi good at was okay… coffee and hot chocolate at 30. There is NO need to be nasty to your customers babes. None. And the coffee tree in the back is sick with some kind of pest.

Terrible customer service. The baristas are extremely snarky in front of you, and it’s very obvious. The coffee tastes good but the service was not worth the experience. Would not come back.
Please listen to the customer’s full order before you get annoyed for making it wrong next time.

Tried their white velvet which is like a mocha but with white chocolate. Absolutely no coffee flavor, essentially tasted like melted ice cream but in a good way. The atmosphere is great, love the decor.

One of the best espresso places in Seattle in our humble opinion. The baristas were kind to us and they made high quality espresso! The place also has a historic-vintage vibe to it.
Hot Tips:
*Get the Nico! My coffee nerd ? friend recommended it and it is fantastic! You can get the Nico with soy milk!
*Bring your own growler/howler and buy some cold brew. It is rich and tasty.

I read so many good reviews about this place & had to try it as a visitor to the city. The coffee was OK but nothing exceptional.
