I order Ezell’s from DoorDash frequently. It’s always the same: 1lb spicy tenders, two rolls, cajun fries, mac and cheese, and hot sauce and ranch. Somehow, they’ve gone from a fine pre-packaged ranch to their own ranch, and now they’re giving me Hidden Valley ranch?! That’s the trash of all ranches, and it absolutely affects my Ezell’s ritual. Fix your ranch situation and I’ll go back to giving y’all...
There's something different since the schism. Spicy isn't as perfectly balanced. Coating isn't as sublimely crispy. The Mac and Cheese doesn't have that cheddar tang. The biscuits are now more like rolls than biscuits. It's OK, just not what I had come to expect after literally decades of going out of my way to hit the CD store.
Good chicken. Sometimes its kinda dry so a little hit or miss. The spicy tenders are my favorite with the bbq-ranch. The bread is always really good. No indoor seating, just pickup. Small parking lot, which works great since its just pickup
