How I heard of this place: The Asress family opened their restaurant a few years ago and it wasn't long before their loving demeanor and welcome embrace attracted numbers of us! This is a small cafe run by a brother, sister and their mother from Ethiopia. They've been here a long time, have run their cafe for 7 years, and the food is excellent. The space is not large but there are lots of windows on a quiet parking lot, and lots of places to sit. They also do take-out, catering, and have fresh foods in two coolers. We go there weekly for breakfast and conversation. It's always a pleasure.

We recently moved to the neighborhood and were looking for a place to eat after getting our hair cut nearby. Such a great experience with Fana's and are so glad we found them in this cute little plaza! They are currently doing to-go orders with chicken and waffles, fish and chips, and sambusas, yum.
