Great atmosphere. Delicious food. The lady was great service considering it was just her and seemingly nobody else. Fair prices. One of the best in the area. I recommend the cornbread, it was the total takeaway.

Had this on a trip down to Seattle. Great place. The chicken was nice and crispy outside and tender inside. Biscuits were fanstic was well.Super friendly good service. The restaurant was nicely decorated.It's a bit of a wait (40 min), but it's worth it.

Crosswalk at Fats is wheelchair accessible and crosswalks are right there at entrance if you park across the street.

Absolutely AMAZING! ? The butter chicken biscuit was the best I’ve ever had. And the servers and staff were FABULOUS!
The chicken at this place is INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend the potato bowl (more so than the chicken and waffles) bc you get a bit of everything! It’s a fairly small place so may have to wait if you’re going around brunch time but it’s so worth it! Will be going back for sure
My partner and I were having a really rough day. I had to go in to get some serious tests done in Seattle. We drove around a bit discussing what to eat after a stressful morning. I remembered that there was a chicken and waffle place that was really good so I drove us there. We ordered and the person who brought the food out was a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day. As matter of fact the sun came out as soon as they brought the food. It was so good. I got the catfish sandwich and my partner got the chicken and waffles. The fries were so dang good, the catfish was perfectly cooked and the bread was delicious! My partner loved the chicken and he had to cut me off from taking little bites of the crispy bits. Food for me unlocks memories and it gives me deep comfort.I needed that kind of comfort the other day and I definitely got it here. It is the ultimate comfort for me and it eased my worried mind at least for a bit.
I had a great experience here. The honey biscuits sandwiches are delicious. The chicken wings are good. Although I was expecting more from the chicken and waffles. The waffles felt like they were similar to eggos. The chicken is good, it’s just the waffle that wasn’t that tasty. The atmosphere is nice a casual spot with lots of nice artwork, some vintage pieces. The vibes are great in there. Good music and ambiance. The service is good as well.

I had brunch today at Fats and it did not disappoint. I came in with a larger party than they typically accommodate and they made it work for us. The service and food were both excellent and I sincerely appreciated the friendly hospitality. I will definitely be back because I love supporting this Black-owned business!
