I absolutely love the chicken and waffles here, but don't skip out on the shrimp and grits either. It's so good! My family and I came here for a lunch and the food and service (and music!) were all stellar. Thank you for such a wonderful meal! 💗
I was really excited to try this place and wanted to love the food, but unfortunately I could not. The service was great. The servers were friendly and attentive. The place is cute, not too small as many people had commented. Coming from Portland I have much higher expectations for my chicken and waffles, as well as my coffee.
I had the namesake chicken and waffles (thighs) which I read in the paper was one of the best in Seattle’s and it didn’t disappoint. Very tender, juicy and decent seasoning (not just covered in salt and pepper). Waffles and syrup sweetly matched the chicken flavor.
Music was a bit too loud for my liking but it was part of the atmosphere.
I’ll be back.
