The ladies working were so kind, they really made sure I was comfortable and they had a great attitude, you don’t find that many places these days. I got the chicken and waffles, grits, and beignets. The chicken that comes with the waffle is very good, I wish I could just get several pieces of that. The waffle really wasn’t good, even with the yummy butter and syrup on it. We went on a Saturday for brunch and the atmosphere was fantastic with classic hip hop booming and the most eclectic crowd of any restaurant ever. Being close to the university certainly helps with that; the college-town vibe is strong.
BUT!
Everything on the menu is 16 or 18 bucks, which isn't too awful because it's all fresh and high-quality. The sausage and grits were amazing. The waffles were different. Not Belgian. They're kinda like Waffle...

I will say - despite all of that - the food was bomb enough to still ignore the service and return. Our friends told us to trust it and we’re glad we did !
