Unassuming little casual restaurant with great quality ingredients. I recommend the sweet potato latte with oatmilk. My son had his with half and half (extra yummy). GF French toast for me ,served with real maple syrup. The chef was more than willing to cook me up a couple of overeasy eggs to go on my meal. The quality of our meal really shined through . I would definitely come back on my next visit to Seattle

Dietary restrictions: I had gluten free French toast with a couple eggs on top and it was delicious. Great texture, taste and quality

Love this place, great little neighborhood joint. Food is simple but really good, staff friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. Food can be slow if it’s busy but I’m in no rush. Dairy free baked goods are a treat.

Finch and Pine truly is, as they say, a quaint neighborhood restaurant and café. It was a real treat to dine there on our last day visiting Seattle and experience the delectable cuisine prepared by Chef Sara.

While waiting for our meal, I enjoyed a Latte with Oat milk and infused with the house-made Lavender syrup and we shared a delicious mochi muffin. The muffin was so good, I wanted to take one home for breakfast the next day, but all were sold out. Instead, I took home an equally delicious cinnamon roll. We also shared the delicata squash dish. It was great!

My main course was the Fall Harvest Tartin. It was amazing!

In addition to sharing the muffin and the squash, my husband’s main dish was the sourdough French toast. He enjoyed them all immensely!

I would definitely recommend Finch and Pine as a great place to enjoy great food, a cozy atmosphere, and good service!

Service was exceptionally and painfully slow for the limited menu options. It took 90 minutes from ordering for the food to arrive with no refills on drinks or arrival of appetizers. Then the first person's food arrived while the third person of our party had to wait an additional 10 minutes.

This place has an excellent menu. However, do not come here hungry. Consistently they take forever and a day to produce your order. Every single time I have been here it’s always an hour before you get your food and there isn’t that many seats available. Like 30 seats and you will question if they forgot your order. Every time.
Suggestion: hire more than one chef, buy more dishes and turn the point of sale to full self service since everything including water is already.

Ate here for dinner on a whim and so happy to have discovered this neighborhood gem. We shared the delicata squash with pomegranate molasses and crème fraiche, the butternut squash risotto (hearty and homey)
but the winner of the night was the black cod cooked to perfection with crispy skin in a delectable sweet yet savory puree of pear and onion. Not only was the food amazing but the ambience was perfect with plenty of lush plants and a great playlist (think David Bowie and Janis Joplin peppered with more contemporary artists). Last but not least- it was a great value- check out the very reasonable prices on the menu.

A fantastic dinner the other evening. The broccoli was incredible and the cod was beyond words. Drinks were very yummy. With the apple crisp style dessert to end it. Felt like a cozy fall evening

Came for brunch. Liked it alright. Shrub was not bad. Squash pesto toast had a weird "cream cheese" that was sweet and had an odd texture I didn't like. Fake BLT was fun with a slightly spicy sauce and what tasted like tofu a la bacon - bit salty. We found neighborhood street parking two blocks away free less than two hours if no permit.

So happy to have this place in the neighborhood. While not everything is vegan, the menu is very vegan friendly. Many things are vegan by default - including the breakfast sandwich and cheese pancakes. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. Compact but cozy. I’ve only been here for breakfast but they serve dinner too. The food is bomb, and the coffee is pretty good too.

Great location and atmosphere. Mediocre food. They charge $2 extra for jam and eggs are about the only protein they carry.

Amazing dairy free food. As someone with a dairy allergy it was really awesome to have great food where I didn't have to avoid anything on the menu!

Takeout is frustrating bc their online menu is wildly incomplete + inaccurate + there’s no phone # to call. My partner went today around 1:15 + had to wait 20 min after ordering. We did get the tartine tho, which was “out of stock” online. The Fall Harvest Tartine is truly wonderful + iirc, the BLET is maaaaybe even better. Thrilling Bakon ftw! I regret the $8 side salad tho bc it’s basic af, like are you kidding me? Even if the croutons weren’t soggy when they got to me! (They were.)
