Beautiful and versatile space with friendly staff and an unusual variety of dark beer along with typical IPAs. Cask too.

This place is a dream for any craft beer lover! The selection is always fantastic, with so many great options several dark beers and different styles. I love geting a flights—it’s the perfect way to try beers i have not had before. The staff here are always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help with recommendations. Looking forward to the next year's dark beer fest.

Swung by Flying Lion on a Sunday evening to get some work done and watch football. Had a stellar time. The vibes inside were inviting and cozy, with nice service at the bar. The beers we had were fantastic (the Another IPA was a 10/10). Even though the brewery isn't huge they make the most of the space with inventive seating and an enclosed patio. 100% will be back!

As far as their selection goes, I love this brewery. They always have a big list with a little bit of everything and they make it good. They make solid fresh hop and Marzen beers in the fall. They have a good local crowd and I always love coming here after I play a local soccer game on a weekday night. My only complaint is that the prices are $9-$12 for a pint! This might be partially because they don't take tips here, but still that is a lot for even a craft micro beer. Most recently, I ordered 3 smaller 10 oz schooner sizes of beer so I could taste more beers and still be able to drive home, and for the 10 ounce beers it was only $1 less for $8-$11 per glass! Even with an included tip, $27 for not even 2 full pints of beer is nuts.

Great service! Nice place

this is my favorite Seattle brewery (and I have been to 30 or so). They always have their Velvet Uppercut, an excellent Belgian-style Strong Ale. In December of 2022 I came to two days of their 9th Annual Dark Beer Festival and they had all my other favorite styles: Dopplebock, Scottish Wee Heavy, and Belgian Quad.

Flying Lion is a nice community spot where you can enjoy drinks with your friends. The beer is great, vibes are even better, and this is a no-tip spot as they pay their employees living wages. They have seating inside and in the outdoor patio, where they’re always featuring cute plants. As with a lot of bars in this area, they don’t serve food, but you are allowed oto bring your own. Their merch seems to be nice quality as well.

This place is a hidden gem… nice staff, good beer, cool ambiance and indie/alt tunes. Nice vibe for a Saturday.

Great beer!!! A bit hard to park if busy, but worth it! Belgian Golden Stong, so much flavor! Great range of beer, also recommend the hazy and the nut brown. Beautiful little brewery in a great spot!

Fantastic place to go grab a beer with your friends.I am always so tired of seeing places that are 90% pale ales on tap, and this place has actual diversity of choice. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and good at their job.The patio outside is cozy, and great on a sunny day.
