Favorite vegan ice cream spot. Always impressed with the variety of flavors. A bit on the pricier side but always delicious.
I love Frankie and Jo's. I've been a huge fan for probably at least a decade now.
Really you cannot get better vegan and gluten-free ice cream anywhere.
When I moved away from Western Washington, seven years ago, I will admit that multiple times I have had their pints shipped to my house, especially with their limited edition seasonal flavors.
So when I'm in town, this is absolutely one of my must stops. This last weekend was no exception. I visited their Ballard shop, and I got their miso moon in a waffle cone.
Cheers Frankie and Jos! You are the best

The best ice cream in Seattle
This is my favorite ice cream shop in Seattle/ Tacoma. The best flavors!
Awesome selection of unique flavors for my kid with dairy and nut allergies. He was delighted to participate in sampling and choosing, instead of his usual experience of just having to accept whatever option is available. Besides that, the ice cream is definitely delicious and out of the ordinary. We all enjoyed our visit and waffle cones.
Obviously the ice cream is incredible but my goodness the service! Lily made my whole experience in Seattle AMAZING.
Solid vegan ice cream.

I grabbed the blueberry lavender pie flavor, and it was surprisingly good. The blueberry pops with tart sweetness, and the lavender adds a light floral touch without being too strong. What really sets it apart is the pie crust swirl it brings in a fun texture and a hint of nostalgia.
It was the perfect little after dinner treat. It was refreshing but not heavy, with just enough sweetness to round out the night. I got the mini scoop, which was the ideal size and not too big, not too skimpy. Just right for satisfying the craving without overdoing it.
The shop itself adds to the experience. Itâs cozy without trying too hard, It feels like the kind of place where flavor experiments happen behind the counter, and youâre lucky enough to be part of the tasting crew. I wanted to try them all!
If youâre into unique vegan options, this oneâs worth a try before itâs gone for the season!
Is it outrageously overpriced ice cream?- yes. Is it outrageously good ice cream?- yes! The best dairy free ice cream I've ever had. $25 for 4 scoops of ice cream is crazy to me, but we're from out of town and had to try this place. The Salty Caramel Ash and California Cabin were so yummy!
Loved this
Never had such good ice cream
Tried a few samples n finally got so many flavors
Donât miss
Their Salted Caramel Ashe flavor resurrected me!!!
