The gluten free banana cake was the best I’ve had. Fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside with the right amount of chocolate, you wouldn’t think it was gluten free.

Quite possibly the best Americano I've ever had!

I’ve been a loyal and enthusiastic customer of Fresh Flours ever since I moved to Seattle nearly two years ago, it’s truly one of my all-time favorite cafés, not just in Seattle but anywhere in the U.S. The pastries, the coffee, the atmosphere, all top notch IMHO.

That said, I was very disappointed by the recent switch from Square to Toast as the point-of-sale system. The new interface feels clunky and less informative from the customer side, I wasn’t able to easily see my loyalty points, which is a feature I’ve always appreciated.

More disappointingly though, I’ve heard from several friends that the refund process is now slower, less flexible and doesn’t always support refunds to Google or Apple Pay, sometimes resulting in store credit instead, which really isn’t a refund, it's a gift card purchase. That seems not just unfair but borderline tacky.

Fresh Flours remains a place I deeply love and recommend, but I hope they consider addressing some of these issues with the new system, or reconsider the switch altogether.

(And if I may: please bring back the azuki (red bean) croissant! I miss it dearly.)

I've been a big fan of this place for the past 8 years. This morning I ordered 2 large order online (10 + 6 = total 16 pastries) to celebrate a friend's birthday. I expected that since they always put 4 or more pastries in a box. When I went to pick it up, they each came in a paper bag and the pastries were all crumpled up in a small bag. Can you believe I ordered 16 pastries and they all fit in two small bags? All Danish pastries are out of shape. So I asked for a box and put the pastries in the box myself. I tipped them because I ordered a lot but I put them in the box by myself. I'm a big fan of this place so I hope this never happens again.

Unfriendly staff. I guess the other reviews are more the demographic the baristas like. I didn't feel welcome at all.

Decent latte and the goat cheese croissant was good

Great place to get pastries! My favorite was the Matcha muffin which had a red bean inside, which was so amazing. The matcha cookie was OK as well as the Matcha latte. Their specialty coffees look pretty good! I would come back.

I’ve had mostly great experiences at this coffee shop, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff on most days. However, the Friday morning crew consistently falls short. They are unapproachable, do not greet customers, and seem inconvenienced by having to take orders. It’s a stark contrast to the rest of the week when the staff is warm and engaging, making it an enjoyable place to visit. I hope management can address this inconsistency, as it impacts the overall experience.

Fresh Flours is a must after a lab draw or visit at UW SLU. Service is quick and friendly, and coffee is delicious! Their fruit danishes are yummy, and if I'm looking for something savory I go for the ham and cheese croissant. It's a can't miss.

Love this place. Great, great coffee! They don’t have Italian sodas on the menu but the barista was able to get me some sparkling water with raspberry flavoring. Yummy food too if you’re looking for a quick snack or lunch. Their pastries are delicious and good quality.

honestly just pretty overprices for the quality of the pastries and the space is too small to really be a good spot to sit for a while
