FYI: I came to Fuji because an employee of another bakery recommended this one. Just saying...
Food: I had a plain croissant, a doughnut, and a pear, custard, and pastry delight thing. The donuts are sold in orders of 4, not individually. All were rich, and not oily or fatty, not overly sweet either. The pastries were delicious.
Service: The young man forgot to include a raspberry/lemon curd pastry i ordered as well, and was charged for. The only reason I gave a 3 on service. The customer looks at available pastries from outside the store through a window. The employee then packs your order and you pay at the window. Its not self service. Getting your order packed is a service they provide. So...
But easy remedy, next time I'll check the bag before leaving, not in the Uber, on the way home.
Atmosphere is great. Beautiful Chinatown. There's an awesome plaza/park across the street. Asian staples like lanterns adorning the overhead, ping pong tables always full, benches with game boards in laid, and communal/social interaction. Love it. You can easily walk across the street and enjoy those pastries there.
And this gem is right next door to A+ Hong Kong restaurant (also a gem).

Its not like modern bakerys
You just order at the door and your good. But you can definitely taste that they perfected everything they have. Yes I have tried it all. The curry and ube and the crunch creme are my fave and recently the one with actual strawberry on top.

Cute bakery with a wide selection of pastries. The azuki malasada was delicious and not too sweet.
Pastries are nice and fresh. Really good.

Loved the professionalism shown here. Highly professional and courteous.
Tried the strawberry and lilikoi malasadas and a butter croissant. I’d eat those malasadas daily. The butter croissant could use more butter but the texture was perfect for a croissant. Will definitely go again when I’m back in the area.

Great place to get Japanese milk bread (shokupan) - $4 for half a loaf. Excited to come back to try the curry buns. No indoor seating at this location.

Love their pastries, their closest authentic Japanese pastries that you can get in America without going to Japan. Wish they had more locations. Also think they should open up the building understandably they did that during Covid to make it easier for them, but I think by now they should let people go into the building

Delicious pastries and cake! The Japanese strawberry shortcake is one of the best cakes I've taste. I also really enjoy their cheese danishes and cinnamon rolls and highly recommend any of their croissants, though I do prefer their almond croissants and apple pie croissants. Coffee is also really good!

The food and espresso here is well made and has unique options. The malassadas are a popular item for good reason, very tasty. The prices are reasonable. I had some trouble with my card's chip and they were helpful and patient!

Fuji Bakery is my favorite bakery in Seattle. I prefer the ID location because of its proximity to my home and ease of parking. There is a walk-up window and the staff is friendly and efficient. My favorite items are the beef curry bun and the crunchy cream. Their matcha latte is excellent.

Took 30 minutes to make one latte, waited in line for 15 minutes. It’s 10am on a weekday, it SHOULDNT take this long when there’s only 3 people ahead of me with small orders.
The food and drinks are normally pretty good. But the team working mornings just take too long, I’ve been late to work in past just waiting for a drink.

Walk-up window, with their offerings displayed clearly in their corner window.
Ube malasada and crunchy cream malasada were so fresh and delicious (loved), tried and really liked the lilikoi as well.
