Got their chocolate cake recently. The cake is bone dry - not moist at all.

Great bakery with something for everyone! Went for the malasadas and had to get the bacon wrapped with cheese dough, and a fried meat with curry (I'll call it doughnut delight!) This is a must for anyone looking for an amazing treat!

I ordered a crunchy cream malasada but was given a strawberry one instead. It was ok but not worth the price I paid.

You don’t come here for the atmosphere. After all, it’s a hole in the wall—almost literally. This corner store has all of its freshly baked pastries in the window. No need for a menu; just point. Their crunchy, cream-filled malasada donut is my favorite, with the beef curry bun coming in close second. Don’t leave without also ordering a matcha to pair with your goodies. Easily one of the best matcha lattes in the city. They also sell Shokupan milk bread for sale upon request. You can thank me later.

This place was definitely good, but nothing so amazing to write home about.

Good baked goods. I got the matcha and ube malassada, but were very good. However they had a lot of flies.
I don't know what it's called, but it's really good. I upload the picture

I went on a Sunday at 2:00, there was no line and the goods were still fresh and plentiful. There is no seating but maybe this keeps prices down, as the prices are fantastic for a baked good of this quality in Seattle.

All malasadas are gorgeous, fluffy and with a slightly sweet and very flavorful filling. Love the passion fruit and one. Try the curry bun for savory

Ordered the ube malasada because I missed Hawaii. Well they call it, ooobay, which means we don’t really put any ube root in it, we just use purple food coloring.
Ube and Taro Bubble/boba is the same thing. In fact some people use taro mix in their baking because it doesn’t cook off. Especially that McCormick stuff.
Maybe try ube halaya(jam), or butterfly ube syrup.
Am I lying?

Loved everything I tried. Malasadas were fluffy and perfect — my favorite was the lilikoi, with matcha or azuki competing for second. The beef curry buns were my overall favorite I tried, soft with a satisfying crunch on the outside. A great breakfast choice. And the milk bread was great too.
Best to come early in the day, things can sell out. Worth coming out for their pastries, would love to try their sandwiches and cakes during my next Seattle visit! FYI, no dine-in when I went.

Walk up window on the street corner for service. I was with a group of 9 friends and the clerk was very helpful in answering everyone's questions about the bakery items. The malasada was pure bliss ❤️
