Great space, intimate
Great music venue! I love the stage with the extended middle portion. The sound is surprisingly good for such a small room.
They have some fun, reasonably priced mixed drinks. And their house brew lager is very tasty.
Whoever does the booking is great, too! You can always bet on finding hidden local gems and talented touring acts on their calendar.
The neighboring El Corazon may have more recognition, but The Funhouse is a more intimate experience.

Saw Illusion of Sanity play here, GREAT venue, FRIENDLY staff with a TWISTED, (fun), sense of humor, AWESOME drinks, and the bands were AWESOME, (especially Illusion of Sanity). The stickers of all the local bands festooning their walls is the best wallpaper EVER!

The Funhouse is a venue with a cool atmosphere, featuring a great live music area with excellent sound quality. It is a small music venue/dive bar that hosts rock and metal performances. The bar offers a variety of tasty drinks, such as the Strawberry Lemonade Vodka with 7-Up. Visitors can enjoy the pinball machines and admire the Viking Skull Mural, which adds to its unique charm. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere, although there have been some reports of rudeness. The crowd usually has a ton of energy, making for a fun show, especially when seeing a band up close and personal. The venue is accommodating for ADA needs, and the bathroom walls provide some entertainment as well. Despite some organizational issues with the merch area and occasional sound problems, many visitors continue to have a great time at the Funhouse.
