Taco Thursday

“I have to say, be not deceived by the looks or the size of this hole in the wall.. The Owner is one of the kindest persons I've ever met! Every Friday the have their Steak Special. I'm assuming the owner is the Chief! The Steak came with your choice of salad ,baked potato or fries! All under $30.00 bucks. They even have Taco days too. Although they don't provide Taco Sauce, if you ask the owner to bring some prior, he will accommodate!
Get atmosphere and great service too. All the staff are pretty laid-back and friendly!
Although I'm not a smoker, the back patio is small but also a nice get away and it's always fun chatting it up with the smokers! They provide a pool table, karaoke and name that tune bingo!
Everyone is treated equally. As a Blk man, I've never felt unwelcomed! I highly recommend stopping in. And I drive from Everett to stop in!!!“

Diesel

Diesel Gay Bar • $$
1413 14th Ave, Seattle

“If you're looking for a fantastic place to socialize and enjoy some great drinks, Diesel is the spot! The bartenders here are always super nice and make some of the best, stiff drinks in town. Don't miss out on Taco Tuesday – it's the perfect excuse for a weekday beverage. Whether you're a regular or a newcomer, Diesel is a welcoming place where you can relax and have a great time with like-minded men. Highly recommended!“

Pony

Pony Gay Bar • $
1221 E Madison St, Seattle

“Pony is the kind of place you wind up when you’ve given up on being aspirational. It’s not where you meet the love of your life, it’s where you meet the person who ruins the rest of your week, maybe the rest of your month, maybe even your life but at least it won’t be boring. Anything but boring. The air is thick with sweat, despair, and joy. The walls feels like it’s seen something illegal, and still has the fingerprints to prove it. It’s all bad decisions and good intentions. A place so small you can’t help but rub against strangers, which is the point, isn’t it? You can call it a gay dive bar, but really it’s a queer confessional booth with alcoholic beverages. Everyone is either too cool or not cool enough but everyone is beautiful in that wrecked, unfixable way. The drinks are good, they’re strong, not cheap. The music is always right, but exactly wrong in a way that keeps you there and coming back. Pony is like an ex you should block on every platform but don’t, because some part of you thrives on humiliation, on spectacle, on waking up with hope and vomit dried stuck to your pillowcase.

If most gay bars are trying to be someone you could take home to your mother, Pony is the one you meet in the bathroom and leave without knowing their name. It’s not romance, it’s relapse. It’s not catharsis, it’s collapse. But it’s honest. And sometimes, when the world feels like it’s killing you slowly, honesty is the only libation worth paying for.“

“Such a good Turkey melt and OMG the fries are to die for. I've dealt with the ear-piercing Karaoke to eat, that's about the only downside. Leave your hearing aids at home if you can, probably will need some in a few months if I become a regular.“

“The energy in this place is very queer and they attract good people. The music is simply not it - top 40 from 10 years ago and a severe shortage of sapphic artists being played. Also they close the place down 15 minutes early on a packed Saturday night? It was very confusing. People were still having a great time and they cut the music and ushered people out.“

Massive

Massive Gay Bar • $$
619 E Pine St, Seattle

“Pretty good spot and much needed queer techno/house space in Seattle. Sound system could be better but hey this is Seattle gotta adjust your expectations a bit and Massive usually clears out pretty quickly by like 2AM but this city is kinda sleepy. I think they also need to sound proof the space more based on all the angry neighbors leaving reviews lol.“

Crescent Lounge Gay Bar • $

“Super great, fun, energetic bar! Bartender Mark is awesome and nice! If you're looking for karaoke this is the place to be at. I'm not usually a singing type person but I felt very comfortable here and didn't mind singing in front of everyone. If you're looking for a first stop or your last come check it out! Bartenders are very friendly I think one was being trained but he didn't just BS my drink he asked to make sure he knew what he was doing. Very friendly bar.“

“A cozy bar, it was my first time coming in but you can tell this is the sorta place that builds regulars.
I came in for the Chili Relleno, but I had to restrict any grains for the meal, only protien. It was suggested I try the verde to add a bit of pork to the meal. A customer told me this place might have the best Relleno in town, and after trying it, I have to agree. I coulda gone for three of them. The price for this quality is a real steal.“
