Madison Pub Reviews
Mad Pub is a staple in the LGBTQ+ community in Seattle. The owner is lovely and really cares about his business. Come here on local sports days and you’ll get an amazing and fun experience that brings community together. Shout out to long term bar tender Jeff for being so cool and good at what he does - and also, his photography, you’ll find it throughout the bar!
Mad Pub is a staple and one of the only chill and fun bars on the hill. Great place to start the night or end it with a night cap. The staff is all very friendly and the drinks are well priced compared to other spots like Massive or The Cuff. The cherry on top is the beanie baby claw machine that actually lets you win unlike any of those crappy claw machines in a grocery store or arcade. Nothings a better conversation starter than a cute stuffed friend to compliment your fit for...read full review
Good place to meet random people and actually talk. Crews that come through are regulars, but people that are equally appreciated are the ones that don’t live in the vicinity (aka visitors). I come here nearly weekly to just catch up with random people that I’ve seen in a hot second. Also, they pour a good stiff drink.

Madison Pub is a popular gay sports bar in Capitol Hill, known for its chill and fun atmosphere. The bar attracts an older gay crowd and offers limited food options, but the Turkey melt and fries are highly praised. While the service is generally super nice and easy-going, one bartender has been reported to be rude at times. The bar features raffles and free corn dogs, but visitors should be prepared for ear-piercing Karaoke nights, which might be a downside for some. The crowd is young, fun, and sporty, making it a great place to grab a drink with friends after a game. The mixed crowd of locals, including Pony or Union goers, creates a lively and entertaining atmosphere, perfect for people-watching. Visitors are encouraged to try to get a grin out of Bartender Tony or tip the staff well, as it will result in very well-poured drinks.
