The food was overall pretty good, although they were out of a few things we wanted by 7pm on a Saturday and the service was mixed. But I can't really recommend a place that adds a 4% surcharge that goes entirely to the business rather than the workers. Raise your prices 4% rather than make a whiny, petulant political statement about costs rising.
First time visit, service attentive though an appetizer order went in wrong and a couple things were asked to come with our pizza that didn’t make it. Pizza came out overdone, should’ve sent it back but we were starving. Wood fired is lovely and all, but the mozzarella shouldn’t be dried down to the point of looking like toughened cheddar. The Caesar was delicious, pasta ok but bland, drinks good with nice selection.
Wandered in tonight on a whim/wrong turn and was so impressed-- made my night. Food was EXCELLENT (who puts marscapone & mint in bolognese!???), cocktails/bartender were FABULOUS. I love too, that there's a big and curated tap list. Usually if there's lots of good beer, the wine is lacking (and likely no cocktails) and visa versa. This. Has. Everything. Go yesterday!
