Goldfinch Tavern Reviews
Simply put— poor service. Very poor service. Team members are snobbish and so caught up in the mechanics that service is compromised. I sat at the bar. Don’t plan to find out how the rest of the service is delivered. Not interested. Shame.
Just go, if you are thinking about it, bottomless mimosas should be the only breaking point.
Fabulous, inventive cocktails. The gold fashioned is fantastic and the presentation is off the hook. I loved my mezcal based autumn cocktail. Yum. Great service. And the food was sublime. Rigatoni with duck ragu, house made buttermilk ricotta and burnt orange. My boyfriend’s hamburger and (perfect) fries was super tasty. We both loved each other’s food. This place is a win, win, win. Going back next week for drinks, fries and their bourbon chocolate pecan pie.

Goldfinch Tavern offers a delicious dining experience with exceptional cuisine, including creamy clam chowder and crab cakes. Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, the restaurant features a stunning space with incredible flower arrangements, a fireplace, and comfortable furnishings. Guests can enjoy decent views of the Sound, along with nice live music and good cocktails, which are often creative and a great way to start a meal. The menu includes a variety of dishes, with some standout options like King Salmon and Capellini with mushrooms, both cooked to perfection and served in generous portions. The breakfast menu remains popular, featuring options such as the classic egg breakfast, freshly baked muffins, and fresh orange and green juices. Many customers praise the attentive service, noting that the staff are patient and go above and beyond to meet guests' needs. Recent highlights include the steak, halibut, crab and beet salad, and the chocolate cake, which many say is heaven. Although there have been some changes to the menu that some feel lack inspiration, Goldfinch Tavern combines a beautiful setting with tasty food and warm service, making it a highly recommended spot for both breakfast and dinner, especially for special occasions.
