We have lived in Ballard for years and finally got to check this place out! I’m bummed we waited so long because it’s now one of my fav places in Ballard. Super friendly, fast service, amazing food. We will be back!
I like to pop in alone and eat at the bar. Traditional Mexican decor, staff quick to help you and always professional. Highly recommend the cochinita pibil (my mouth waters thinking about it) I get it in a burrito bowl or tacos. Their tacos are HUGE with a ton of meat. The roja salsa is absolutely delicious and get a refill (it's cheaper than another full order). Coconut flan is great too. Overall a solid place, and one to return to
Service was great, and the atmosphere was nice, although they do have TVs showing sports.
The beef tongue tacos were delicious, and the house-made tortillas were excellent. However, a lot of the dishes were fried—maybe a little too much fried food for me. Everything tasted good, but it felt pretty heavy by the end of the meal
