I’ve always love Gran central bakery. I been a long time customer. After the disappointment episode at the Eastlake branch, I was very happy with this location. Food is delicious per usual. I love that they have Don Froyland grill cheese. A wonderful example of great quality ingredients while supporting local family own businesses. The manager that gave me a discount told me: “thank you for giving us another chance” which he didn’t have...
I don't know what's happened but I love the place - yet there's a new morning woman who is grumpy as hell every time I've see her working there early mornings. Doesn't speak, you have to interrupt her to order something, no thank you or anything - not a great welcoming place in the mornings lately. Maybe she's not suited for morning work, or customer service work. Screen better.
I stopped by this bakery, and I stumbled on cheddar veggie focaccia sandwich and I like this one; I also bought chocolate croissant, this place has coffee & espresso; many people come here to hangout with their friend.
