Loved this place. I stayed for over a week in a corner room.Ruths is downstairs and has some amazing food at a great price. The ONLY negative things I can say about it (not even the hotels fault) are that the FEES are astronomical.I mean, when I booked it showed $260 a night, YET after all the city fees, the $50 a day valet charges and such each night was about $400.I live a little bit north of Seattle and did not expect to pay a tourism fee and all the other nonsense ?.So, just expect to pay a lot more when checking out, I didn't see any of these fees when booking.Other than the fees just watch out for any homeless outside. Every single time I went out homeless people would ask me for money and when I told them I only had a card they would yell at me and one man tried to throw a bicycle at me ?.(That's a city problem, it's been getting worse for years, not a Grand Hyatt problem)Rooms: Amazing rooms, clean with a nice view if on the upper floors facing Pikes Place Market.Safety: Just ensure that you have a way to defend yourself if need be. It's unlikely a homeless person will attack you, yet it does happen occasionally.

Near the convention center but further from shops and grocers. During my stay only one elevator was working. Gratefully, they had folks escorted through the service elevator but I can only imagine the impact on that in service. Rooms are phenomenal!!! So worth it? Yeah I'll say.

Stayed for a weekend getaway with my partner - got a bay view room. The view was beautiful, room honestly could have been cleaner (bathroom floor and shower was kind of scummy, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend overall for a nice little weekend getaway in the city. ?

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle and it was truly a remarkable experience. My room on the 28th floor offered breathtaking views of the city, particularly the water beyond Pike Place Public Market. The in-room dining service was exceptional, especially with the backdrop of the stunning view. The accommodations were top-notch, providing a very comfortable stay in a quiet hotel. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the major sights for sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt for anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient stay.Walkability: Easy walk ability to shopping. Macys and Nordstroms just down the street!

Godfrey wad incredibly rude and refused to let me drink from the complimentarywater station, despite the fact that I was a guest. This interaction was unnecessary, and a real shame because the hotel is beautiful. As a guest paying $250.00 a night for 5 nights, I should be allowed to drink the complimentary water in the lobby. I will not be returning to this hotel chain and I'm canceling all of my future stays with Hyatt in 2024.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed the hotel. The location can't be beat, walkable to the public market and the monorail to the space needle. The gym is well equipped and spacious. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The rooms have chromecast on the TVs which made it easy to catch up on our shows. There is a Starbucks in the lobby too. The rooms have a small easy to open window for ventilation too! We will definitely be staying here for future visitsSafety: The door to the hotel requires key card access after 10pm until morning and the elevators to the room require a key to get up to the roomWalkability: Very walkable neighborhood, a very short walk to the public market.
