This place has a great feel. That’s mostly because of the friendly, efficient service & good tunes. The gumbo is delicious, as is the deep fried okra. I’ve also had the red beans and rice, which are excellent. Nice selection of beer and cider to go along with it. I look forward to trying more items on the menu. A sweet little spot off the beaten path. I will be back!
Ordered delivery and food was prepared quickly. I got the fried okra and the gumbo with crawfish. The fried okra was great! I originally thought that the base gumbo option on UberEats would have a mix of proteins like typical gumbo and the protein selection would be for extra add-ons, but instead it's just what proteins you want in your gumbo.
