Good food but service could hv been way n better. We were ignored most of the time and tracking people down was hard. Did not get any drink refills. They tried to serve us our food cold so we had to send it back. Its a beautiful restaurant of the water though.

Everything about this place is amazing. Food was perfect, fresh, taste amazing. Serving was professional. The location and view is unbeatable. Sea view almost from every table. This is a classy restaurant in every single step. Tables, chairs, plates, silverware, tools.. everything

We had a wonderful experience dining at Happy Crab this week. I was tempted to go back if we had enough time in our trip!
The servers were lovely and accommodating and the food had us in a daze the whole meal. I absolutely recommend not skipping the hand-pulled noodles with your seafood boil.

We’ve visited Happy Crab three times since it first opened, and every visit has been a really enjoyable experience 😊 Each time the food was tasty and the atmosphere was welcoming. What we really like is the variety on the menu — it’s not just seafood 🦀🐟, but also a mix of Chinese dishes and Southern USA flavors, which makes the place feel unique and interesting.
The clam chowder was especially delicious and actually reminded us of the classic soup from Ivar’s, which was a pleasant surprise 🍲 The restaurant also has amazing views of the Sound and the Olympic Mountains 🌊⛰️ — honestly, the scenery alone makes the visit worthwhile. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully designed, and there’s also a lovely patio where you can sit and enjoy the view over the bay.
One small thing that could be improved would be the sauces for the Asian dishes. It would be great if they offered Kikkoman soy sauce and ponzu, because the sauce on the table tasted a bit unusual to us. During one of our visits the restaurant was quite busy, but something really fun caught our attention — robots delivering the food to the tables 🤖🍽️! We had never seen that before, and it made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it’s a great place that we would happily return to again.

Super-tasty eats - chill vibe - attentive staff! $120 for 3 w/ 5 dishes + dessert.
Rec: Before/after you eat, walk to the side of the restaurant & take a minute to reflect on life as the tide rolls in or out!
As someone not from the US, I don’t know what cuisine this is called. But I’ll call it pretty darn good

Excellent place to dine right on the water front. One of my favorite restaurants I dined at on my Seattle vacation. Especially loved the coleslaw.

This is such a great location and I really want to like this place, but it's just not good. The seafood boil was fine. My son really enjoyed it. We had a steak entree with under-seasoned mashed potatoes and cold broccoli. Glasses were dirty (gross). I felt bad for the servers who seemed to know it should be better. They were friendly and tried very hard.

Everything was overwhelmingly mediocre. The food was edible but not great. The service was inattentive and a bit slow. The restaurant was awkwardly empty on a Thursday evening. Blown kegs for the first two different beers we ordered. I’ll be surprised if they’re still open in nine months.

We had the most amazing time. Ordered a custom boil that was so tasty. Our waiter James was so kind and helpful and recommended the perfect amount to order for a party of 5. Will definitely be retuning and hoping to be sat in James’ section!

The food here is delicious!!! We went at happy hour in the winter and found the prices to be extremely reasonable. Everything we got was fantastic. The servers were kind and the views were incredible. Will definitely be going back!!

Happy Crab is stunning — huge, beautiful, right on the water with incredible views. When we went there were maybe 15 people there… served by just three waiters who were speed walking between the massive dining room and bar like they were training for a triathlon. They were lovely and truly the best part of the night.
The food, unfortunately, was not. The crab boil in Louisiana sauce was cold and inedibly salty, like the ocean fought back. The “botanical” tequila drink tasted mostly like sweet-and-sour mix, and the spicy margarita was just… spice. The soup dumplings had no soup, the pork noodles were mushy, and the green beans were forgettable.
Come for the views. Tip the waiters well. Eat beforehand.
Edit: Weird response from the owner…. I don’t prefer light flavors. Unless 'bold and rich flavors' means *bold in salt* and *rich in salt*. Take the feedback queen! 😂
