Such an incredible dining experience. Attentive and kind waitstaff, delicious food/drinks, and an impressive menu. Looking forward to coming back soon!
Amazing food, great staff, and a range of options to choose from
I was so excited to try the new Smash Burger window at Harry’s because this is one of my favorite restaurants, however I was quickly disappointed.
After waiting 20 minutes and paying $27 for a single smash burger with fries, Mexican sprite and a 20% tip (I was also charged a 3% dine in fee?), I received my order with quite literally 8 French fries. After taking a bite of my burger, the bun was so dry and crumbly I couldn’t eat it. The redeeming part of this burger was the pickle.
I think this is such a fun idea, but I am beyond disappointed with my experience.
I think its hard to find good breakfast in Seattle but this place is great. Thoughtful and unique dishes. Flavor City! Great vibe in general. I had the cornbread pancake with passion fruit compote and highly recommend.
I love everything about Harry’s- it’s our first choice when we dream of eating out. Love the neighborhood vibe, scrumptious food and drinks that never disappoint, and of course- the service. I am happy to spend our hard-earned money for a meal out when it makes the mark. Harry’s isn’t perfect every time - no human powered endeavor is. But more often than not, Harry’s is PERFECT and we live to support them.
Really, really wanted to enjoy this restaurant as the reviews had suggested it was highly rated, but it didn’t deliver.
The food was fantastic - but the service was really disappointing. The server barely grunted a word to us, we’d ask a question about the menu to just ‘sure’. It was borderline uncomfortable. Even after we paid he walked away no thanks, no have a good evening. Nothing.
Then the bill came - there’s a 3% charge added to cover increasing wages and costs - er… cool but add that to the cost of your menu items, as your waiter then shared the terminal with a 20% minimum tip option going up in 5% increments - what happened to 15/18/20? I absolutely encourage serving staff be paid a living wage like everywhere else in the world, but this odd circumstance of 3% here, 5% there and now add another 20% it just spoils a meal to find you almost paid a third more for the $12 fries in fees.
We went to Harry’s fine food for the second time because our first experience was amazing. The food was and is amazingggggg. But during winters we sat in the patio area and the space heater near us was not working, the curtains were blowing onto our faces almost knocking down our drinks but the staff did nothing.
The worst part was about our waitress. She was rude and in a hurry to push us out. She grabbed my plate before I even completed eating my quiche. I had just stopped to take a sip of water. Horrible! Not going back.

Seasonal menu with superb service and a fun atmosphere. Reserve a table because the space is small and intimate.

My spouse and I are locals and come to Harry's often. The last few times however have been really disappointing. The service has been poor, and the quality and portions of food is no longer worth the price point.
We came in celebrating our anniversary. Things started out good enough. Our drink and food orders were taken promptly. We got the smoked olives and whitefish dip as starters. If the rest of service had gone well, I would have looked past things - but everything accumulated into a bad dinner. The whitefish was nice. The olives were tiny and hard, I found myself having to scrape each one with my teeth just to get the little meat off. Not worth $12.
I ordered bolognese and my husband the steak, adding a side of fries for his meal. The fries came 15 minutes before our meals. Then 5 minutes later my bolognese comes so we waited another 10 minutes before he got his steak. Once the steak came, it took another few minutes to get the servers attention for to get a steak knife. As for the quality of the food, the bolognese was rather plain and a small portion - I think I could have made it better at home. The steak was stringy and chewy - though the peppercorn sauce was delicious. Overall disappointing for a nearly $50 steak which came with no sides. They could easily throw some broccolini on there for close to nothing but instead we had to pay $12 for a small bowl of fries.
We finished our meal and the server came back and only took one plate away. They never asked how the meal was or if we wanted dessert or coffee. We waited so long that we were just ready to leave and made many attempts to get the server's attention - at one point it actually felt like she was purposefully not looking in our direction so she could ignore our table. We ended up walking to the hostess stand so we could pay and leave.
We love Harry's, and we will probably try and come back again (maybe we'll just stick with brunch from now on though). But for a $200 meal for 2 people, the service and food should be much, much better.

We stopped by without a reservation an hour before closing. I saw at least 5 empty tables. The hostess offered extremely uncomfortable table near entrance and presented that all other tables are reserved. We left, obviously. Hello, do you want business or not? Did I miss a TikTok when customers are annoyance an hour before closing?
Solid brunch experience with delicious food and reasonable (by Seattle standards) prices. The menu features classic dishes with fresh, local ingredients, and our meals were well-prepared and flavorful.
We got an omelette, pork schnitzel, and cornmeal pancake. It was all very good!
However, our experience was slightly dampened (literally!) by the weather. Due to limited indoor seating, we were seated outside on a chilly and rainy Seattle morning. While the covered patio offered some protection and the heater offered some warmth, it was still quite cold, which detracted from the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the meal. At least the coffee was hot!
Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the quality of the food and service at Harry's Fine Foods makes it a worthwhile dining destination. Just remember to dress warmly and hope for sunshine!

Had some nice meals here. A nice place to try out.
Service is really great, however I was served expired orange juice. Also really disappointing that they only have drip coffee.
