I was excited to try Hello Em Việt Coffee & Roastery, but my experience was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the pâté pastry and the Cà Phê Trứng (egg coffee), but both missed the mark for me. The pastry had too much sauce, which overpowered the flavors rather than complementing them. As for the egg coffee, the espresso wasn’t bold enough, and I found that it could have used more ice to balance the drink.

My first taste of Vietnamese coffee in Seattle. Went with the Bạc Xỉu with egg cloud (Egg Viet Latte) on the staff’s recommendation, and it was incredibly creamy and rich. Loved the history wall highlighting Seattle’s Little Saigon. The only downside is the cup is a bit pricey and the cream layer was a touch too sweet for me. Overall, a delightful spot worth visiting!

easily one of the best cafes in seattle!! super authentic and delicious. maggi coffee is unique and so yummy. i also love their banh mis (nem nuong or breakfast) and pandan croissant!! always will wanna come back
